Westinghouse/Schindler High-Speed Scenic Elevators at Hyatt Regency in Downtown Houston, TX.

Video Recorded on October 20, 2022: These are a beautiful set of glass elevators at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The first set are the glass elevators facing towards outside with a couple elevator cars that serve the Spindletop restaurant which is locked, and the second set are the ones facing towards the atrium lobby of the hotel. I'm sure you remember the elevator hallway lobby used to have green marble walls until it's now white since they renovated this hotel from time to time. Also, notice the confusing floor numbering layout of the COP when trying to select a floor for the lady who rode with me. She even agreed with me on that too..LOL!!! XD Anyways, I hope you enjoy an updated take of these elevators in which was my most favorite high-rise elevators in Houston. Installed in 1972, modernized sometimes in the 2000's, and fixtures replaced in between 2012-2013 (COP only).

@@JimLiElevators If Spindletop is open sometimes those elevators will still be easy then but the atrium elevators probably will be keycarded for every floor above 4.

It really annoys me that all of the hotels are putting key card readers on all of their elevators, Like back 7 or 8 years it would be very rare to find a hotel with keycarded elevators. So when you go into these hotels and you do not have a room there you have to either hope that a nice hotel staff will let you up to film or you just wait for the elevator to move. I really hope this stops happening.
