Love Anglesey but just remember mate for the sake of locals, especially the older ones you never say "in" Anglesey but "on" Anglesey. It's an island and if those old folk could take down those two bridges to the rest of wales then they would. They would rather row their boats tot he mainland like they used to.

I don’t know the area that you purchased in but I guess you have done your numbers to see if renovations plus purchase price less expenses will be profitable. I’ve just found your vlogs. I live in North Wales and am very aware of the holiday let controversy. This house was empty for two years and not bought in that two years by a local. So no locals wanted it. You bought it and will bring life and money in to the local community and have saved an old property from dereliction
I’m still wondering if house was the right one.. either way we’ll make it work! No drama with holiday let’s, there’s been allot of blood sweat and tears to make this project happen.. nobody else wanted to invest the money and efforts to bring this property back to life.. 😁👍🏼
@@thomasarfonwilliams6254 it bothers me that you think young people are so poor.. I see a young generation of hard working professionals making something of themselves.. The property was bought for £90,000 cash. Because it was in a derelict state of condition and un-mortgageable meant I could afford it either.. I put my house on the line, used bridging finance and investors cash and have done allot of the work myself to pull this place back together 👍🏼
@@matthewadamsofficial listen mate we the Welsh have been trying to stop the like of you for many years not only do you take houses off local Welsh speaking people you also make the local young people leave the area .
@@thomasarfonwilliams6254 I don’t normally engage in such negative conversations but for those who live and work in Anglesey this is a minority. I too am a nationalist. I respect and uphold welsh traditions, I have touched in the topic many times.. My mother side is welsh but because I’m not born here I don’t identify as it nor is it my native tongue. Since being here I’ve learned very basic welsh as I find it difficult. I’ve contributed to the community by bringing something rather than taking and will continue to do so.. The last 9 months I have spent tens of thousands on local labour promoting local businesses. I haven’t had anyone who wasn’t English treat me with any disrespect. I understand why your frustrated, as are we all in the state of our country is declining. Don’t hate me for a generation beforehand, I can’t say in your lifetime it certainly in mine there has been no wars or animosity between countries and it’s a generational curse that needs not to be forgotten but not to be passed on 🏴 🏴
