The bench rules really need to be changed. The bench nowadays rom is equal to people doing quarter squats. I expect better out of the ipf. Between the crazy arches and super wide grips the bench in powerlifting is a joke. Clearly this guy is a beast of beasts but the bench rules need a major overhaul. Like the forearms must be at least perpendicular to the floor to start.
there is nothing wrong with partial rom exercises in regular lifting you are severely under training the upper ranges of motions. The upper ranges of motion are much stronger the the lower ones. doing partial bench press and quarter squares trains the upper ranges of motion.
I think any lift when a lifter is advantaged like that with ridiculously short arm length plus he fails to keep his forearms perpendicular to the floor during the lift should be discarded as a sham.
REALLY? THAT WAS A JOKE, I DON'T SEE THE POINT OF EQUIPT LIFT(SUPERSUIT OR WHATEVER THEY ARE CALLED!), IT'S SO UNIMPRESSIVE! MAN CANT EVEN PUT HIS ARMS BY HIS SIDES! 🤣😂🤣👎🏾
his range of motion is so small i didnt notice te lift lol
That range of motion was legit? He has a huge belly what can he do?
try to deadlift 400kg, big talker
@@euphoriaaaaaaaa like if he can deadlift 400kg idiot 🤣
yeah, it is not fair, his shoulder length is like the one of a chipmunk in length
Not locked out...suspend these judges
lol the judge is the coach of my club , ( the one on the right ) he would never pass a lift that wasn't good, remember they're at different angles
headlift at 00:32, main judge should have seen it. probalby american judge. this is not ipf standard

the bench press is a chest workout, so using more chest shouldn’t be banned, nor should a back arch, but it should be full rom
The range of motion wasn't bad, he has a huge belly what can he do about it?
The rule should be that the weight has to touch the chest, which it didn’t
The announcers made more noise during the lift than Blaine.
Correct! And the crowd, if their was one, was...meh.
Not a good lift in my opinion.
Looks sketchy to me. Too many people blocking the view...did not lower the bar enough or lock it out at the end...not convinced.
he's wearing a slingshot
Wtf was that?
a dude bench pressing
A dude pressing a bench

What a joke no full range of motion and 5 man bench
Spotters didn't touch the bar after the lift off. Whats ring with his range of motion? He's 400lbs his Belly is huge what can he do about it?
This should never have been white lit, his head left the bench completely. It’s such a shame.
That my fiends is not a true bench press, impressive that he was able to derack and go down 2 inches and then rack it back
