I have washed, processed(combed), and spun quite a few Finn fleeces. I've dealt with 2 black and the rest were white. I've never seen a grey Finn. I really enjoy working with them. Finns are very popular in my part of N. Canada. They do very well in our climate.
Weird comment but: the sound of the drum carder at 4x is such a pleasing sound.
Normal comment: Did not know that drum carders have different like. Density of the... things. Spikes. Whatever they're called. Very interesting.
Hey, thanks friend! I'm glad you like the noises. That's one reason I try to leave the sound effects in. And the word you're searching for is "tines", but spikes is a perfectly clear description too. Happy crafting!
