I think you raised an important issue for the Fibre Community. Moths can be such a nuisance anyway and they're the Insect that I hate the most, always have done and not sure why. I'm sorry that Bears Coat was damaged, I hope you decide to salvage it especially with such a beautiful piece of Knitwear, it must have taken you ages to Knit it .🐕🎉 I try and keep everything in air tight conditions and I also use lavender. Mothballs have been banned here in UK for a good few years, so we know we've had to find other ways of protecting our clothes from Moths. Thanks again for sharing this important issue. This is sooooo helpful!!! Thank you for making this, there’s really not enough moth content out there. Like you mention, there’s so much shame that comes up when moths appear and I’m so grateful you talk about how there’s no need for that. And thank you also for talking about using the oven! For a long time we thought he only way to kill them was cold, but the oven is a lot easier to control the temperature of! We were dragging bucks of wool products onto our patio and leaving them all winter in the hopes of multiple deep freezes 😅
