It's because Etsy recommends the main picture to be a minimum of 2000 pixels, and if it's not it puts a caution sign on it.

can someone clarify this for me? So if a customer buys a mockup that is a purse for instance, they will only get the drawing? or do u have to do some affiliation so that when they customer buys the purse they get the drawing on the purse sent to them? same concept applies to customized cups? I'm confused

The customer will get the purse with the mockup for example. A third party fulfills the order. Your job is to create the design. People use Printful or Printify to connect the Etsy store and when someone orders your design for the wall art Printfy or Printful will create your design on the product and ship it to the customer.
