Do you by chance know how to turn the beeping sounds off on this microwave?
I've had this exact microwave for over 5 years and never had a problem with it. If it were to go up tomorrow I'd have no problem buying another Hamilton Beach microwave again

Same for me! Kept pressing "Power Level" first and it would just beep at me but wouldn't change anything. My Mother's microwave allows you to change the Power Level first so this Hamilton Beach microwave through me off at first. This video helped me as well!

How do you turn the incessant beeping off? Very unpleasant sound at 1 in the morning.

Our previous Hamilton Beach microwave gave an option to change the cook time for the popcorn button. Best info I found on the P100N30ap-S3I said if the popcorn burns or doesn't fully pop change the power level. Doesn't tell how and I haven't found any info on how to change time, power level or ounce setting for the popcorn button. Did they remove that feature making the button useless. It is set for a 3.5 ounce bag. The biggest popcorn bag we have is 2.75 ounces

I have a microwave with this model number that doesn't look or behave exactly like this one. Numbers are LCD (black) rather than LED as these ones are. Also, defrost by weight must be entered by total ounces only, rather than pounds first ounces second.
How do you mute/disable the beep?
Every microwave I have, I take the cover off, and cut the lead to the beeper. It's very easy to do.
Any chance you know where to get a copy (even a pdf!) of the manual for this? We just bought one off a friend when our old microwave suddenly started running with no one in the room, but she didn't have the manual.

You have to change the power level everytime you make something? It automatically resets to 10 power level everytime you use it
Yes it resets to full power 10 level
Well that's frustrating thank you. Getting my old folks to press a couple more buttons everytime they use the microwave, might be an issue 😆

Your instructions for setting clock time doesn't work
Touch CLOCK pad once for regular time and twice for military time. Use number pads to enter time. Touch CLOCK pad again and time should be set.

I must be a moron or something because I followed the directions about 10 times and it doesn't work. I'm sorry. I did it last spring and it was fine but I can't get it to work. I put the numbered time in after making sure I'm not on military time (that was a great idea to be in the microwave) I hit the clock and it stays a few seconds and pops back to what the time was. please help
Save your money and buy something else. Hamilton Beach used to make good reliable products. I bought this and it didn't even last one year, maybe 6 months. And it didn't even get that much use. Of course its always possible that I got 'the bad one'. But the point is, this company didn't used to have 'bad ones'!

you made a mistake in buying that microwave, they don't last but a month or 2... save your receipt you are going to need it to return it to the store.

Funny, I just was checking mine out to get some info off of it so I can buy a more updated microwave and mine has the year of 2014 and it’s still working. I would say 7 years is well worth what the price of this microwave was.
So sorry to hear that..I've had my Hamilton Beach for 12 years..Never has even lost the annoying beep!
We are isolated disabled senior shut-ins with no transportation who get grocery delivery from Walmart. My Frigidare 1100w microwave bit the dust while heating a HORRENDOUS "hexed" Marie Calender Pot Pie wgich had just been delivered. The pot pie not only tasted horrible but after it broke the microwave, the coffee maker flow plug got stuck & wouldn't process the last cup, the knob fell off the dimmer switch & vanished into the vapors & my almost comatose partner's laptop froze & it took an hour to get his word games back up but the mouse pointer wouldn't work, so that took another hour to try new batteries & find another mouse). We are super dependent on our microwave to heat our coffee "fixes" which for the 2 of us would be at least 4x a day. Unbelievably, I was able to get a $58 Hamilton Beach 900w unit delivered from Walmart within 4 hours. Walmart's $70 Frigidaire 1Kw model was only available through shipping &, from experience, I've found out 3-day shipping could take OVER 3 WEEKS if done thru grossly incompetent FedEx. I've had microwaves for over 50 years & have never in my life had one so screwed up as this Hamilton Beach POS. Like how the HELL do you set this POS for like 70 SECONDS? I guess what I'm gonna have to do is keep the HB until I can have the Frigidaire delivered, then beg a ride to return the HB POS to Walmart for a refund.
