How did manfred get the ability to speak? And how come he didn’t get a body of flesh? Does this mean that in the rest of the game, emmrich is removed from the party in place of manfred? I don’t exactly have the game yet… not even the money for it
Manfred is a wisp given skeletal body and before hand he could only speak with grunts and such. Towards the end of the last mission for this companion he gains speech and it is explained that this wisp was a wisp of curiosity. He understands what is told to him just unable to vocalize it. Emmrich is still part of the group.
@BuddhaJames08 nothing is out of context if the presentation is clear. Disney rip off is by far a very generous criticism for a scene, compared what this game will likely be remembered as.
@BuddhaJames08 and it's cool to like it if you want mind you. There are plenty of stuff I like that are arguably awful. Like legend of korra for example, it sucked by I liked it. And you can like this game, any game really if thats your thing. But it's still a bad game and a bad story, that is by no sense of the world dragon age, the same way rings of power is not lord of the rings.

side note: i'm totally going to play the game. eventually. after the price goes down by 50% or so. no WAY this is worth paying for on day 1. it's no inquisition, it's DEFINATELY no Origins..heck, it isn't even Dragon age 2 from what i've seen. and we ALL know that one was crap. i'm not talking about the DEI junk either....i'm talking basic game and story design.
@@kennethledger1671 well.....one thing i've noticed about the overall plot between the games is the elves have been getting priority. the dwarves are odd...the whole "link with the titans" has been expaneded on(and leads back to the elves of course)..but we haven't really had any exposure to dwarven society itself since the first game. there are still a lot of magisters and i THINK a couple of elven gods left locked in the fade, not to mention the nature of the blight itself...and during the whole thing, the question of Andraste and the Maker and THIER nature is falling to the side. that may be intentional.
