Wearing make up isn't a problem, it's to enhance your facial features. As a Philippine-citizen, it's a very 'over-used' insult. What about those Hollywood stars that wear makeup? This is problematic in so many ways. They're not using gay as identifying them sexuality wise but an insult. The LGBTQ Community as well as the fans are tired of it, that gay is used as an insult. From a complete outside perspective (just saw this trend on twt), I think the 'bashers' are not bashing bts but solely trying to annoy army (atleast from what I read from majority of the comments of the 'bashers' in posts regarding this matter). But since A LOT of armys took it personally like they always do based on past issues surrounding them, the bts biot 'trolling' blew up. And to add to that matter I saw a lot of Filipino armys saying how to "unfilipino" just because of this. And it actually added fuel to the fire, this caught the attention of some netizens (yes, including me). I don't like that they want to turn their backs on their country just because of an issue, but I also don't like that some people use "biot" as derogatory even if that's not their goal (again, their goal is to annoy armys based from what I read).
There's literally no reason to trigger them, just let them do whatever they want if it doesn't affect our country. Also, maaapektuhan nung "BTS BIOT" trend yung reputation ng Philippines.
The only way to learn how to have a respect and discipline is to militarize the country of the philippines not just ROTC that should be a mandatory but also 2-3years military service.

Remember the Bella Poarch incident when they talked shit about Filipinos out of their anger towards the tattoo which wasn't even intended to be something offensive? This is problematic in so many ways. They're not using gay as identifying them sexuality wise but an insult. The LGBTQ Community as well as the fans are tired of it, that gay is used as an insult. Most of them are definitely not homophobic. From a complete outside perspective (just saw this trend on twt), I think the 'bashers' are not bashing bts but solely trying to annoy army (atleast from what I read from majority of the comments of the 'bashers' in posts regarding this matter). But since A LOT of armys took it personally like they always do based on past issues surrounding them, the bts biot 'trolling' blew up. And to add to that matter I saw a lot of Filipino armys saying how to "unfilipino" just because of this. And it actually added fuel to the fire, this caught the attention of some netizens (yes, including me). I don't like that they want to turn their backs on their country just because of an issue, but I also don't like that some people use "biot" as derogatory even if that's not their goal (again, their goal is to annoy armys based from what I read).

So this is my own view about "BTS BIOT" that is trending all over the world now. "BIOT" is a derogatory term used for male homosexual, male-to-female transgender or transexual person in a Philippine language (from allkpop news) and so this is not just an insult to BTS nor it does not just trigger ARMY's but also triggers and insults the whole LGBTQ Community and Korean Community as well. As a Filipino I feel so ashamed and disappointed to the attitudes of some Filipinos. So, for the Filipinos who don't respect or like BTS, then just keep quiet.
