From your mouth to God's ears. Funny thing is, Jerry could blow this whole thing up and then he'd be second guessed for another 5-10 years, if he lives that long. This SHOULD have been their year. But they never addressed all of their weaknesses the way they should have.
In my opinion the first round needs to be the best OL or DL available, second pick needs to be the same as the first round, if you took an OL with the first pick then try to see if you can get a DL with the second pick. 3rd round needs to be a LB, fourth pick CB, fifth pick WR, sixth pick RB, seventh pick or any additional picks can be best player available

The proverbial insult to injury on defense is that there didn't seem to be much of an adjustment at halftime. Of course, the score being what it was at the half, the game had already gotten out of hand. Dallas needed a TD to end the first half and one to start the second half to even be emotionally still in the game.
Mick blamed Gilmore's arm and LB play for the defensive debacle, when the man most responsible for it had his mind in a HC job rather than a proper game plan for a game he thought they would win by showing up.
@@jgrau5089 I agree with you 100%. I don't think I've ever seen a more "mailed in" performance by any team. Although, this game was eerily reminiscent of their early season game at Arizona. They should have easily won both of those games against vastly inferior opponents. Green Bay is NOT that good.

Some teams have never won a Super Bowl. Dallas won THREE under JJ in a span of 5 years. Matching that net success is, as we've seen, near impossible. We'll be alright. We have no true LBs and can't stop the run; once we get that shored up we'll be fine. If JJ is good at anything it's drafting impact players. This last draft was extremely underwhelming, but give JJ his flowers for Martin, Dak, The Smiths, etc. Be thankful we aren't the Browns.
to me the common denominator is the fans. They keep running to buy jerseys and hats. Keep fighting opposing fans on how good they are. Micah is LT all over. Will McClay..we can't let him go...Dak we can't... No they can go! No, they haven't proven it to be great. No Jerry isn't a great owner because the franchise is making the most money. Hold the Joneses accountable. I haven't spent a dime on the Cowboys but once in the last 10 years and it was a trip to the Star. Dak's performances in big games and playoffs is easy to explain, he gets nervous, jittery can't think straight and eventually completely melts down, it's rather very simple.

The only problem is you have to win in September and October to get to January. I get what you’re saying though. They need to get a legit RB and running game and some big LBs to stop the run.

Last year the defense was good in the playoffs. The qb is the one consistently holding the team down I'm the playoffs. The team can go nowhere with an aging qb who still gets nervous in the playoffs

OL first before a RB or switch the picks around. After the 3rd year, if RB is a 1st rounder, then draft another RB to replace the 1st rounder versus an extension. This year the Cowboys can NOT use the second round pick as a “take a chance on an injured player or one with character questions “!

As much as I love having Micha Parsons, he has shown to have a history of falling off production wise after first half of the season past few years. Don’t know if he’s hurt or tired but he definitely falls off in production. I’d rather sit him the first half of season and save his energy for the post run,If he’s never going to be that guy to finish strong. Some guys can do it ( Ray Lewis , Lawrence Taylor) raised it to the next level and thats why they have rings and we are still waiting at the door for our prom date that hasn’t shown up in over 29 years. At least he’ll make generational wealth for never making the dance

@@Monarchskihe already knows how to play lb cause he is one. Its just hes so good at pass rushing they stuck him at defensive end because they wanted that dlaw/parsons combo, instead of making him come from multiple spots like his rookie season. He also could have a lack of focus or drive, especially if the fact that he gets a lot of no calls when he obviously gets held. He can become really frustrated when the later occurs. Only thing ill say to that is that hes still young in the tooth in todays nfl, hasnt learned to cope with fact that the better you are at pass rushing, the more attention you receive from the opponent and more importantly, the more that offense gets away with from the refs(they get benefit of the doubt) even when the hold is obvious because they gotta protect the qb. Even nick bosa chimed in at one point and agreed hes been held without calls quite a lot as well, just as miled garrett does also. Happens all the time. Its just that they have accepted the fact that refs will favor the offense in those situations because...reasons. Just means micah has yet to accept his position in todays nfl

This was a flawed team. We are a dome team. We are constructed like a dome team. We play with speed and finesse. That doesn't work in the playoffs. We need to be able to run and we need to be able to stop the run. In the losses to Arizona, San Francisco, Buffalo and Green Bay our opponents played Bully ball. We need to be able to play bully ball to advance in the playoffs. Go Cowboys!

29 years is a long time. My kids now adults think my stories of the 90s 3 Super bowls are nothing more than myths like big foot and aliens. Laughing every year at all the wasted time! That cuts deep. My wife tells me. I act like someone who’s living in an abusive relationship. Making excuses after every failed season. But Momma they said this time it will be different, I love them. I counted my blessings and It turns out I’m missing some Super bowls. But I’ll ride and die with them like always. Go cowboys!!
