I'm so happy you put up the video even tho there was an issue. People need to know life isn't always perfect and it's good to prepare for possible issues. Maybe keep an extra generator in the car... or extra cable lol
I recommend placing suction cups on your water changing extension nozzle to stay in place as u walk away.👍. Great job as usual. Happy reefing mate 😎 from New Jersey. 🇺🇸
I grind a round on razor corners, use a sharpening stone to knock off any burrs from razors and then by hand ensure the blade is always flat to glass ... Bit of work, but have not yet scratched my low iron glass 👍🥳👍🥳
solid for the experience ... why for adding water directly to the main tank? ... why not in the sump filter? ... greetings to my brotherhood from Indonesia
Howzit cam. I seem to be going through a bacteria bloom at the moment on my 500 lt tank. Been running for about four months. I have a lot of corals in there. They seem to be fine is there anything besides waiting it out to get it sorted. Great videos keep it up 👍🏻
I'd figure you had a razor holder extension on that Leatherman by now :D Beautiful tank and video! I'm deducing that carbon dosing is not that common in Australia? Refugiums and algae reactors seem to be the trend as seen through your videos.
I want to know why so many of your customers are running chillers, I have heard the corals do better when they experience a range of temperatures, rather than getting accustomed to a fixed temperature, wondering also if they run heaters at all.
@@GalleryAquaticaTV that is what I thought. I don't think it is cleaver to move a filled tank each time you need to harvest because you can damaged it and secondly, the easier it is to do maintenance, the more you do it ;).
So nice of you to share your knowledge thanks Cam!
Great video Cam. You and your staff keep safe.
Excellent video as always Cam. Keep uploading bro👍🏽
Great job Cam enjoyed the video thanks

@Anderson Chad you know I can tell both of these accounts are fake and you made them 2 weeks ago right?

Wow , lucky you had that Genny! I actually just got one as we have Tornadoes to deal with!!
We luckily don’t have to worry about tornadoes, but there’s lots of reasons to have a genny on hand! Cam

Good job. Japi rifing from mexico
How nice is that? And to have real seawater for your tank too! How often is this type of water change done? 💗💗💗🧜♀️
Cam, Thanks for a great channel. Why such a large water change? And what is the name for that swivel elbow on your water change device?

Thanks for your video and all advice, but just wondering the fresh water, is comes from sea, or you make it yourself?
Cheers.
We use natural seawater which we collect from the ocean. Cam
Hi there love you videos do you just use a saltwater pool pump to to drain and refill the tank??
👏👏👏 beautiful reef
Love your videos :)

I always turn my lights down when I do a water change big enough to expose corals to air. The par goes up when the water is out of the equation.
That’s a good idea, I do that too when I can’t do the water change quickly. Cam
Cam how do you go with such a large water change being cooler than normal water going back into the system, does it stress things out or is it OK?
Tu trabajo es genial
Are those Rhodactis shrooms red bounce ?
What hoses are those that you use to pump water in the tank?

Hey cam I was wondering what should my ammonia level be new to the reefing thanks if above level what can you do to help it
hello maybe i can help.
it depends how old of your tank is it.
why what happen to your ammonia ??
Simple Reef King well I tested it and it’s somewhere between 0.25-0.50 the tank is about two months old live rock and sand about 10 fish
Tyler Martin you’re ammonia level should be zero for fish
Will D thank you doing a water change now
How do you remove the caulerpa when it is time to harvest?
It’s difficult, but the lid to the refugium comes off and the whole thing slides forwards enough to get your hand in. Cam

I wonder if big water change like this can shock corals and how often should it be ?
I would like know what temp the water in the ibc was when refilling
