Once a piece is dry ready for firing, how long can it be kept in the dry state before firing? I’m asking because I wonder if I can keep some pieces aside for customising.
Your video was so useful. I want to start this as a hobby not business. Where do you usually get your supplies for this? in any particular shop or just different ones?
So glad you found it helpful, here's a list of some of our recommended suppliers where you can find some of the tools and materials shown www.jewellersacademy.com/jewellery-supplies x
Options for polishing are emery papers, polishing papers or a pendant motor with different polishing mops/wheels/tips in different grits. A brass brush is really just for the beginning phase of polishing. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the video. If making charms what is best to get text on them?
You have a few options with clay - you can stamp or engrave once fired or you can even buy moulds with lettering to add before firing x
