- In this video, I will show you how to enable hidden developer options on your Amazon Fire Tablet. These hidden settings will allow you to make your tablet do things that are not able to be done in the normal setting options. You also need to enable developer options to do advanced modifications to your Fire Tablet in order to reach its full potential.

Be very careful when changing settings in the developer options if you do not know what you are doing as it could have an adverse effect on your Fire Tablet. If you do something and can’t undo it you might have to do a factory reset on your device.

Once you enable you would need to do a factory restore to hide again.
are you able to turn off screen lock ads this way?
That option is not in the developer options. But there are ways to do it. I had to take my videos down since TH-cam is very sensitive about things like this.

My Samsung phone automatically connected to one of my neighbors devices listed under available devices on my phone , which I clicked it to assume a pop up appears go live me option to pair or forget device/unpair, nothing came up to give me option and the device disappeared from the list now....

@@SimplySmart123 I managed to disable their launcher though and replace it with Nova. It even goes to Nova when it boots up.
Great! Is there a setting in the Nova Launcher to force open now? The tablet that I show in the video is still set up with it but that was done before they blocked the ability to disable updates. I need to make some new videos. The latest video is with a new tablet bought on Prime Day.

Is the disable Bluetooth A2DP enabled by the factory in developer options? I don't know if it was already enabled or not.
I am not sure. I don’t remember seeing that option but depends on the software versions etc. check it out on your device.

How to disable the camera?
I don’t think there’s a way to disable the camera, but you can put tape over the camera
I accidentally switched a setting in the developer settings and I could only see a black screen and I could only turn off, restart, and lockdown the tablet

It's under developer options. First, you need to enable developer options for the menu item to appear.

You might be able to install an APK file. I don’t think you really need it though since you can actually just download any APK you want.

Hello, I have I believe the same echo dot you have in a video I just found of yours. When I got it a couple years ago I got it to work, and now Alexa doe not seem to be locating wifi/I followed your instructions by turning off the modem and router, but she still says "In setup mode" and my phone shows wifi connected and searching but nothing happening/Do I need to factory reset and can you send me the factory reset video link, please?
Probably a factory reset is what is needed. I don’t have a video for every device so probably just Google the Alexa device that you have and factory reset and you’ll get the instructions. If it’s and set up mode when it’s trying to do is actually connect to the Wi-Fi so you should just be able to open your app and complete the set up.

If you are still having issues you might want to contact Echo support. It could be a hardware issue with your device or possibly a network issue blocking your Alexa device.
@@SimplySmart123 Thank you, I have asked for help on about five Alexa setup videos and still, it is not working. One man told me to call Amazon support, which is one of no-live person help. I also got a call from Echo dot support, I'll try that maybe. What's odd is I've only used this device for a few days then after some while got it out again and it was set up and working fine before. If I could ask you one more question, I was on my Amazon website and for some reason, un-registered my Amazon Alexa (I was thinking after reset, a brand new start) Is it supposed to be registered?
