Beautiful design, thank you for taking the time to teach us this beautiful pattern. I am a little confused that it seems round 11 is only halfway done. You seem to stop at the first corner double crochet chain 2 then double crochet in the third double crochet and then turn to start round 12. Is that correct?

Your 11th round is confusing. There were only 3 DC in the beginning but when you ended it there was a shell( 3dc 2 ch 3dc) How so

Round 11 never ended with a shell, it ends with 3 dc in corner space followed by chain 2 and 1 DC into 3rd DC stitch( which is same as 5 chains, with which we started this round)😊
