If you use crochet thread and less than 2mm crochet hook you will get a smaller size project. You don't have to alter the pattern. Hope I cleared ur doubt.

Hi. I have two lace doily patterns in my channel. You can check them out in my doily playlist. They are 11" and 15" size. I don't have lace doily patterns bigger than that. Hope this helps

Beautiful project! Thank you! I used I Love This Cotton by Hobby Lobby with a size G hook! I used about 220 yard's, which equals one full skein and part of a second. My project measures about 20 inches around. I should add that each skein of this yarn is 185 yards or 165 meters, 3.5 ounces or 100 grams.

I did this and was very good. Thank you for sharing. But next time please share the yarn size because we don’t know what size you use to make bags. It would be a universal measurement like needle size. Otherwise we can’t get an idea of the size of the final product.
