That is one cool truck. I like the rear bumper and looks like it doubles as a hauler and a cruiser. My dad had a 77 heavy-half ton longbed and it's what I learned on to drive 3 speed on the column. I might've been 15. Good memories and put quite few miles on that truck.

@@primeredisbest back then I painted 62.5 trucks per hour! But production painting was a little different than body shop painting. But yes, I'm a decent painter. Good enough for my stuff. I don't need $15k paint jobs. What I own, I use.

Very nice looking truck. I just picked up a GMC grill from the 70s round eye but nobody can tell me what year I was recently at a C10 show and still nobody knew the exact year its in mint condition looks brand new i found it hanging up high in a old shop

I painted a lot those dark Carmine Red '77's when I worked at the truck plant in Flint. Easy color to paint. That is very nice!
