    Great content. You make this scar tissue work/mobilization approachable, easy to understand and...I’m inspired to get a red gel mani !

    I’m only 2 weeks PP, so I guess I’ll have to be patient and wait to start these massage techniques. I hope they help because I can feel a section of tension along my incision. That tugging sensation is bothering me, but thankfully there’s not much pain at all.

    I had my s-section 8 years ago and I still feel tugging on my scar. I wish I had seen this before.

      It can still help even this long after

    Love this! Started doing it last week and it’s helping already. I’m 7 weeks PP and just gently massage my scar each night until I can heal a bit longer.

    Hi! Can I use this massage for incision from
    Laparotomy / miomectomy ? Thanks

    • @michellecerna6262
      @michellecerna6262 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just had a laparotomy a little under 6 weeks ago. I’ve been told to treat it like a c-section scar so I’m assuming this would help with any tightness.

      I had a laparotomy about 3 months ago and I've been doing the circle and up/down massages. I use a c-section cream by Motherlove while doing the massages as well.

    It's been 6month since I gave birth via C-Section and I can still feel pain in my scar area. 😥 Why am I onky seeing this now 😥

  • @sensimania
    @sensimania 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Would this also be beneficial for those who had an open myomectomy via a caesarean cut (from fibroid removal)?
    Would it still be too painful after 6 weeks (since the uterus has to recover)?

    This works for hysterectomy too, right? I had an abdominal hysterectomy last year, and after a year suddenly started feeling pain just underneath my incision.

    • @Dandelion_flight
      @Dandelion_flight ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe you have adhesion under the scar.

    Ive got so much pain in my abdominal area ive had tummy tuck 10 years ago and I think its scar tissue but not sure if thats pain my abdominal has alot of inflammation. Is scar tissue deadly?

    • @jaminakess7037

      Scar tissue is not deadly.

      Get a very light band, set it somewhere high, and use it to crunch try to go as far as u can comfortably. High reps 50-100 are very safe and make the tendons stronger, i got hernia surgery and doing it made me heal much faster

    • @Dandelion_flight
      @Dandelion_flight ปีที่แล้ว

      Kay Barca, how are you doing? Did your pain sort out? It could be adhesions. Apparently 93% people who did abdominal surgery develop adhesions. It’s not deadly but depending on severity can be crippling. The adhesions from the scar can develop on the surrounding organs unfortunately. I just had abdominal surgery and hoping to avoid adhesions so paying attention to my scar.

    • @satyadevi254
      @satyadevi254 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn't matter what color her skin is. She is receiving healing, so this is a good thing. She is being offered compassion. I'm sorry she had to have a c section. I'm sorry you feel triggered seeing her receiving treatment for her scar. Peace be with you. 🙏🏽
