The only thing stormcaller has over the prismatic is the ability to loop arc souls with getaway using the aspect, and lighting surge seems to do more damage on normal stormcaller add in spark of instinct and it becomes very consistent on even almost full HP guardians. Arc warlock’s arc souls being able to be shared with team mates is what makes it technically “above” the other ones 6 people in a raid all with a arc soul even if they only get it once is a substantial amount of completely free damage and especially ad clear, 3 people with arc souls can ad clear most rooms with very little use or special or heavy ammo besides champions, and using them while amplified is worded strangely it doesn’t increase its fire rate it makes it actually gain more shots per burst along with a slight increase to fire rate
Osmiomancy also recharges grenades on hit a la Contraverse, making it a strong pick for a general grenade build. I haven't tested it in PvP to see how much you get back off of a guardian, though.
@@kreive4719 That's a fair assumption. The main reason it's a question for me is because it now works on other Prismatic grenade types (i.e., vortex and storm), and those have a different hit count/registration than coldsnap.

Prismatic just destroyed arc 3.0 tbh. Because all of the arc 3.0 subclasses felt scuffed in their implementation, and everything they were good at was just put on prismatic. Like, arcstrider hunter for example. Combination blow, Liar's Handshake, and Blink are all here - which means you have the optimal PvE build and the option of blink if you like it, and now you can run it with perks that synergize better? There's so many decisions with arc 3.0 that were made that really feel awkward or like they don't make sense. Like to use arcstrider as an example again, as I'm a hunter main so I feel more confident using my own class as an example, I don't understand why they didnt make Tempest Strike a melee ability and Combination Blow into an aspect. That way they'd synergize together so that tempest wasn't useless in pve, and it'd be infinitely easier to balance in addition to providing a plethora of layers of far more interesting buildmaking potential. And it'd be a much better feeling class in pvp too, with the old pure neutral power fantasy of bottom tree not being effectively relegated to only existing while amplified. (This would also be a world where arcstrider didn't feel more like a titan in pve than titans do at this point..) It's really sad that it feels like void, solar, strand, and even at this point stasis are mostly fine with a few specific exceptions that are a bit too weak or too strong (if not outright bugged), but arc feels like it needs put back in the oven for a 4.0 update for all 3 subclasses, titans feeling the best of the three but still just kind of being invalidated by prismatic's existence at this point. Especially as someone that loves the power fantasy of the old 2.0 bottom tree arcstrider, as well as bladedancer, but is stuck with the awkwardness of 3.0 arcstrider.
Okay so its not just me, arc is just getting absolutely bullied in this meta!! Im a bottom tree striker titan main, and ive been using that same class since before arc 3.0 came out. Not sure if you remember this perk for bottom tree striker called frontal assault, it maxed out weapon stability and increased damage for like 7 seconds if you land a charged melee, but bungie removed it in their 50th striker titan nerf a long time ago. In this busted sandbox of damage boosts and prismatic nonsense that old perk definitely belongs here. It really does feel like arc is just the weakest subclass period, especially in pvp. I feel like the arc kit is simply being powercrept by everything else. Cant remember which pvp youtuber said it, but they pretty much said in todays sandbox you have to play at your best performance in order to really make arc shine, while other subclasses just fill the skill gap with ability cheese. People like to call arc titan busted but there are so much stronger options nowadays. Behemoth got destroyed
Let me kindly offer this instead as the nickname for Prismatic Warlock: PrizLock
I’ve always disliked the super tier system.
Say what you want about warlock, you're all hunters anyway

It is fun but I said before final shape & I am saying now prismatic just as pretty much all the class items try to do too many things. where as the other classes allow you to focus efforts. Jack of all trades master of none. it is great for solo players in PvE because of that, but then Bungie went & locked subclass specific exotics behind casual play...not crying as of yet I have yet to see a class item worth LFGing, or farming for.
Arc in just general is obsolete for both pvp and pve
some boring gameplay
Me waiting on the moment that Cammy was going to use the pink powers, so I would know and understand key moments to pop it 🥲
i save transcend for refilling my melee or anti well.
@@cammycakesgaming ohhhhhh
