My friend and I were at this gig. I was 18 at the time. We stayed out in London all night so we could meet them the next day at an album signing. They were really nice to us, especially Bret. It was good times!

Pretty sure this is from their London show. One of my favorote songs from "Native Tongue" & Richie just tears it up live as so do Brett & the boys! Just incendiary!

Great album. Too bad it was released during the start of the grunge era (I know, I'm a Seattle native and was on the UW campus when "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana was released... and signaled the clear end to hair metal.
Ironically, Poison moved far away from 'hair metal' and 'glam rock' on "Native Tongue". But, it never received the air play to make it credible. And, even if it had, it was the wrong style at the wrong time.
Glad I found the album, and the DVD, nearly two decades later.

Richie Kotzen was hot and talented, but I prefer C.C. DeVille instead, because he belongs to Poison.

@silva70001 It's obvious that that was just a stupid argument. Look at the video: Ritchie plays brilliantly, shines onstage, makes a show himself. Also, sings enormous backing vocals. Logically, Bret couldn't stand that.

Isn't it funny that Richie Kotzen easily plays the classic poison songs on this tour, but C.C. Deville has never been able to play songs like this from the fantastic native tongue album?
Just shows how C.C. might be a flashy player that can play pop-rock glam shit, but has no real substance. He was fine for the first three albums, but honestly, poison were never as musical as they were with this album, and for the time (like early 90's era) it worked great.
Just a shame Richie had little personality, which C.C. does actually have quite a bit of. Kotzen was just a douchebag who bit the hand that fed him. Because he would never regain the fame he had with poison. Just a shame poison would never regain the musical talent they had with him.

You do realize Richie has been selling out arenas for more than a decade with Winery Dogs right? He doesn't have to depend on package tours. Winery Dogs albums are also vastly out selling ANYTHING Poison put out since they fired him. I love Poison, but you are absolutely clueless.
