[ this is why holden, here in aus, won bathurst soooo many times, ford parts..] very sore point here..they used v8 brakes on there toranas, ford 9'' diffs, sidedraughts instead of factory s,u sht, plus, they made up rules as they went. ford were 4 laps ahead, banned.. nice,. this is why i ''dislike'', chev, holden.. they cheat.. last bathurst, real one, was 89.. nearly bought a blazer,4x4, in 80,s. just for the dash, then fit ford gear..clevo.. no mods needed. just a decent cam. im 66, have 4 ford 4x4rs, 62-02. .73 chall r/t 340, . you need a bigger shop. like, build lean toos on side of shed for storage, snow rain not good, never seen that here in aus... keep it up, excellent content.. H..

Holy crap! I agree with Mortske on something! Slots are cool. I put slots on my car a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, they're polished so they don't have that same "old school" look as what I wanted but they're still bitchin'.

I'm a big fan of the slots too. I noticed one of them had a Futura GLS tire on it. At one time we built them at the Texarkana Arkansas Cooper Tire plant that I work at.

Love the Lincoln tool box setups and the Cadillac chrome valve covers and the assortment of aluminum magnesium slot mag wheels..lol are awesome!! And you can actually polish up the aluminum and magnesium wheels fairly easily with a mother's power ball and the mag and aluminum wheel polish and a decent selectable rpm cordless drill and a few microfiber towels for cleanup and it takes a few hours to do all the contours and surface edges but it is not hard

I had a 69 charger with 10 inch slots and 50s on the back but stock steel with hubcaps on the front still looked good. Love the look of the slots

Looks like you made out pretty good in your travels 👍 Incidentally, is that an '64-'65 Imperial parked near the Blue GMC pickup and fuel tank? I not sure but it's definitely has a MOPAR style wraparound windshield.

My dad and I are chain and binder guys, too. Straps start flapping in the wind, the tails are a pain in the you know what.. they seem to come loose in the first 20 miles no matter what you do.. chains are the way to go..

I think that's the most muddy I've ever seen Duff. 🐶 And I bet the smell is "wonderful". But he loves gettin dirty, it's macho. Quite a haul of goodies! If I had known slots were going to become so sought after, i would have encouraged my brother to keep the ones off his 69 Camaro. And I think they were American Racing.

Duff's always in some mud holes hunting critters, spaniels natural environment, have had Springers and Cumberlands since 1987, wetland prepped breeds, we only let the females in the house after a wipe down, don't worry, had covered kennels with dry houses with horse blankets, water and heat lamps, they were hunting dogs not couch potato's, which they weren't breed for originally
If brake fluid gets into the ol firelake it congels and clogs up the injector and lines.. I say specifically brake fluid.. because me (we) all assume it's fine to burn.. it is. Except it secretly clumps up when mixed with oil "the more you know" mortskee skeet skeet
