COME TO THE LORD- EKHAKAMBA CHURCH OF GOD CHOIR BUNYORE

Our own rainmaker from Ebusiekwe Esibila the late Omulako Nganyi had a herd of cows, bulls ,calves in his compound at "Mwitala".
The bulls were used as yolks for preparing other people's shambas at a cost, Mwitala or Amatala not my friend Abisai Amatalo were brought up by the missionaries and mostly were around churches or schools because the missionaries were enticing the locals into christianity thereby living nearby or in a close knit community to avoid backsliding.
Mzee Omulako could lead his herd of bulls,cows towards Ebuyangu, Emwatsi and disappeared in the neighborhood of Nyamininia in Gem constituency in the pretext of grazing his livestock to confuse people kumbe he was in his usual escapades of controlling the rain and matters hailstones.
Among the early converts were Dishon[Dickson] Indimuli grandfather and great grandfather to Dishon Saunya and Alex Saunya respectively not forgetting John Mark Imende father to Rev Thomas Imende the first pastor to break away from the Byrum Makokha led Church of God, followed by Rev Obed Ochwanyi of the Buruburu community church kwa akina Solomon Lumumba and Anthony Indieka. Other early converts were Mishael/Michael Oluoch my grandfather who had one headlight [Doreen/Torina] like a motorcycle unlike his brother Chief Manoa who had various real breathing Eve's descendants like Priscilla[Pilisila] grandmother to the current West Bunyore MCA Wimsy Manoa Osore, Omusiele Asafi otherwise known as Mama Safi from Ebuyangu Ebuyalu kwa akina Rodricks Oware Ambuka, Joseph Seph Muhindi, Anne Mulwale and Omusiele Leonida [Leonita] nyina Likungulube .Mzee Manoa didn't carry his eggs in one basket he cleverly spread them at strategic zones ,Pilisila[Priscilla] resided near Esibila [Mwitala], Asafi Omuyangu was planted at Duka moja while Leonita[Leonida] was strategically placed at Amuimba the border point between Abasiekwe ,Abayangu, Abakanga and Abamabwi kwa akina Samweli Ombuni.
Church breakaways started long time ago even before some of us were born because I don't know what happened ,my own grandfather and Mzee Joash Anaminyi father to the late Permanent secretary Elizabeth Masiga and Peter Anaminyi left the Esibila church of God to establish the Anglican church [C.P.K] at Enyahela what I fondly refer to as Duka moja. I was informed Mishael could thunder bass alone during the choir sessions assisted by Joash Anaminyi on tenor.
Not all locals were converted others were "Vichwa ngumu" who had no time for the strangers telling them to mend their ways leave chang'aa ,injaka and follow the wazungus[missionaries at Kima].
My grandfather's own cousin Esikakati was among them, he was very humble wacha ifike saa tano he collected his crew loyalists like Anjere, Sikuta, Epwono[Taabu tupu], Njonjo, Sikwe Ndole as they headed towards Ebukami[Emarenyo] that's where Ugenyadiffich was and is served freely since they believe that isn't part of Kenya. Upon return you could hear Esikakati's voice some kilometers away as he announced for all to hear that anyone real or imagined enemy who plays around with him he will release his domesticated thunder to kill him/her permanently.
Esikakati's neighbor Jeremiah Emitundo dad to Mwalimu Echai/Tea [I don't know why he is called Echai yet he is among the great loyal followers of the Ruaraka waters like me] had a herd of donkeys in the whole of Bunyore whereby most people used to hire them for transportation during harvesting season. I was told night runners could not afford to showcase their talents in the neighborhood of Mzee Jeremiah Emitundo because of the hardworking asses.Mzee Jeremiah Emitundo was brother to the late Hezron Emitundo father to Mwalimu Malachi Emitundo, Amuchama and Abisai indeed the grandfather to banga Victoria Emitundo, Zadock Emitundo, Susan Emitundo,

Oaka Bwoyagi opines; The science of commanding rain is a deep secret in African spirituality it can never mix with Christianity. It requires a high disciplined initiated mind to command natural elements to work. It is a spiritual realm of it's own kind. Most healers are spiritual not Christian .Which reminds me of what my grandfather told me that Dishon Indimuli and John Mark Imende were bethroned as rainmakers but they refused in favor of Christianity ,in fact the ritual of rain making[Controlling] was meant for elderly in the society ,that's why my friend Asumani is in his own world [Sleeping, eating walking rain always]
Dishon Indimuli's brother Mzee Nziwa was an expert in rain matters, whenever people had occassions they used to visit these rainmakers in advance or else the occassions were marred, Mzee Nziwa bequeathed his powers to now converted pastor Abisai Nziwa formerly "Twanga" not Twanga pepeta " from Tanzania nor Chapa Ilale from Luanda the politician.
Even Okonda Etole brother to Ngota of Duka moja was a participant in this field whereby if you had an occasion and you refused to talk to both of them nicely they ended up me
