Toppers ranks NSUT mai jatey hai haan numbers of seats jayada honey se ferk padata hai....Phir bhi dono colleges ki cutoff mai NSUT upper hai

Also look at this year's category ranks. DTU CSE cutoff is better, i.e. got better students even with higher no of students. Overall student quality remains almost same at both.

Definitely worth it. Its a top 10-15 engg college in India. Is comparable to Top 3 NITs. Placements are better than every NIT (both avg & highest). Startup culture is also better than NITs. What else do you need ?

@@princegupta2648 peer group is same across NSUT, DTU, IIITD. They have 99-99.7percentile folks as well. It looks like these are bad because JAC delhi shows CRL ranks for category people while JOSAA people show Category ranks only. Otherwise they also have Crl ranks in lakhs.

Nsut m 900 bacche h CSE related m .. DTU m 1000 hai. ECE ko bhi include krega toh DTU m 1260 hain .. NSUT m 1314 hain. Hai toh ICE bhi halka sa CS/ECE related hi .. but use rehne de. Vrna toh 1500 bacche hojaenge NSUT m Cs/ece related. 1 branch m ho ya 10 branch m milakr .. placement m thodi fark pdega. Vhan toh utne hi bache baithenge

@@naveenprajapati5547 Out of these only NIT Allahabad is comparable to DTU in terms of placements & coding culture. You can choose if you’d like to go to Allahabad or utilize Delhi exposure.

2) politics ? I think you’re getting confused with DU, or maybe JNU. Dtu m koi politics nhi hoti. President vgarah k elections hote h alag se bas shaanti se. You dont have to be part of it.
3) class schedule varies. Overall colg time is 8 am to 6 pm. But beech m bhot breaks hote h & kafi bar 10-11 am se start hoti h. Kafi bar 3 bje khatam bas. Toh vary krta h.

DTU CSE is better. Coding environment is much better and comparable to IIITH/A (as can be seen from coding contests (including ICPC). NIT Rourkela is far away from major airports & hence not all big companies visit there for placements. Delhi as a city also provides much better exposure. DTU CSE avg last year was 22.5-23 lakhs (for 400 students), while for NIT rourkela was 20.5 lakhs (for 100 students). This year DTU CSE avg till 21 Sept is 26.9 lakhs (80% batch placed)

@@sonamkhampa2118 I dont think it matters. If you’d have gotten into IIT/NIT you’d have still gone there right ? Moreover, Dtu has recently created a big new hostel for girls (660 seater). You can get it as fewer girls might join DTU bcoz of female quota at NSUT. Dont lose out on the opportunity you’re getting. Worst case take a pg if its not manageable.

EP placements are better than mech because its allowed by many more tech companies. EP is allowed for almost same companies as ECE/EE
