It’s alright. Canada was never really great at anything in life. Most of our history was trying to be second best. Didn’t want nuclear arms. Didn’t follow through on the Arrow jet developments. Didn’t make any headway on commercial jet development and let C series die in hands of Bombardier. Nortel and BlackBerry die. Canada always had potentials. But Canadians never dream big or hustle to greatness. Canadians always having this sense of superior morality but don’t have the strength to back it up. Canada is very good with being delusional.

It is more painful to watch some Canadians miss the root problem and believe politicians are their saviours and telling the truth. Ouch! How many times do you want to be taken advantage of before you learn?
The system is the sickness. The most destructive anti-economic system ever invented is capitalism and that's the basis of our economy. No wonder it is going down the tubes! That's like playing the board game Monopoly and then being surprised at the end when only one player has almost all of the money and everybody else is miserable, in debt and struggling to survive!

President Joe Biden has great economic policies in place. They have convinced SAMSUNG INTEL TSMC MICRON to build plants in the US. MICRON will employ about 50 000 people and some 9000 jobs pay about $100 000 a year and you do not need a college degree to get one. That is where the good paying jobs are - not pizza hut or subway or Walmart. Besides you can invent something or create something that can make a lot of money. @@coolioso808

LOL I enjoyed the joke there, thanks, bud. When you suggested Smith, who supports libertarian ideals of free market capitalism, which are structurally unsustainable, unjust and unhealthy, it is quite funny to hear the term "sanity" related to Danielle Smith and the Cons.
Hey, sorry you are late to the party, but the capitalist system is old and out-dated, it doesn't work, it isn't sustainable, just or healthy way to continue any sort of economic system for a future that hopes to have peace, sustainability and prosperity.
Let's see, you familiar with Cyberpunk 2077? If not, just think, a money, capitalist stratified society with lots of violence, gangs and poverty, people fusing themselves with robot parts because they just don't care anymore, weaponizing their bodies, the environment is dead and dreary and that's life in the future of a monetary-market society depicted in Cyberpunk 2077, but you can pick your poison. Try Hunger Games, try Star Wars, try Elysium... pretty much any direction you go with a future depicted having money, markets and some form of capitalism you see misery and instability.
But Star Trek? Especially, The Next Generation series. A hopeful view of a possible human future where money is made obsolete. A more egalitarian society where everyone's needs are met, no money exchange required. Goods and services are in abundance due to applied technology and contributions from various people (or beings) with related skills. The society is based more on adventure, diplomacy and bettering one's self, not much on war. Poverty isn't an issue in that future.
People supporting Smithy and the Cons may not know it, but they are supporting going backwards and downhill. Not a good direction for our society to go.

Unless you are a rich private owner of the means of production, Smith and the Cons aren't helping you. You don't believe me? Just watch the rich get richer and the poor get poorer if Conservative policies like going backwards in time to preserve destructive oil and gas and private corporations over worker co-ops and clean energy abundance works out for you.
Capitalism is as destructive of an economic system as can be. We are all slaves to the monetary system as long as those with vast wealth control more and more and there isn't much democracy at work.
The sickness is the system, make no mistake about it. Does Smith know this? Either wildly ignorant or she knows better but lies like a sociopath to gain and keep power to ensure the super rich stay super rich and the poor and middle class stay in a state of exploitation.
I pity those who praise and support politicians as their saviours.

It may seem like a contradictory statement & counterintuitive idea but a Alberta & possibly Saskatchewan referendums on a Wexit move might be the very CATALYSTS for the Positive & Permanent changes needed to Reform this system of confederation. Otherwise if the next government elected is only a minority it could fall quickly, then what? One only has to look at Quebec and see how their politics really do impact the federal dynamics & it's a blueprint in how to deal with a increasingly disturbing trend of federal authoritarianism no matter who is in power at the time. Then again that's only Imo.😢

@@JT-bc5cdEXACTLY. Decentralization is what is needed for that is one of the main issues we are seeing & fighting against, that more & more of our decision making is now being concentrated into centralized NGO's like the WEF ,UN & WHO setting the agendas & calling the shots.
