@@lynnmou8331 I'm not totally sure if this is what you're asking, but french uses both le and la (as well as les). Le is when the noun is masculine and la is when the noun is feminine. Example: Le grand chat. "Chat" is masculine so the adjective and le are both masculine as well. Example: La grande salade. "Salade" is feminine so the adjective and la are both feminine as well. Hope that helps!
