Simple and elegant was described as “sanitary” back in the olden days of 1950’s. Open wheeled Highboy Deuce coupes with closed up engine hoods were often described that way in the Hot Rod Magazines of the day. That dash is a knock out of understated elegance.
Good choice of gauges boys and a nice touch with the combination switch, it all looks the part, all you need now is one of those old school accesssary indicator switches on the colomn. Cheers Greg
I ended up making dies for common guage sizes because everything I could find for my knockout punch were either too big or too small. And constantly building my character by manually bringing the holes to dimension got old fast, lol. The dash (heck, the whole car) looks fantastic!
Your hydraulic punch setup is so universal , could you send me a few photos of the ram and punches , the work your doing is amazing , the quality is right up there , keep up the work you have my utmost respect and really inspires me to build my model a coupe 👍

Glad you liked the ignition switch/headlight switch, now, what are you using for a starter switch, the 50's through 70's Evinrude/Johnson outboard cutout switches are real nice push button switches and are heavy duty you can use them with either the stock rubber button cover or remove the rubber and its a sweet chrome button under it.

Nice work on the dash. I used Stewart-Warner gauges in a 46 Willy’s I built back in the early 70’s. They definitely have the cool factor.
