It was good to see you Sunday morning at the lake. Thanks for the videos, great as always. The wife and I will be chasing the blue gills every Sunday for the next two months waiting for spawn.
I was thinking about trying ur drift method u do on the channel cats in the deep water on the blue gills with worms just about a foot off the bottom, do u think that’s worth trying?
@@JSOutdoors We managed enough for a couple meals. No crappies where we were. Water about 45 degrees. Really excited for Spring! Watching you makes me want to move South when I retire. Gotta get momma talked into it.
Nice catch I was catching some big bluegills and decent yellow perch before it snowed and got cold. Starting to warm up again and I’ll be looking for some crappie too👍
Thanks for watching we appreciate it and no I only travel 20 to 25 minutes but most places I bank fish are fished pretty heavy so I usually have to hit them early to beat the crowd lol
when they are biting good like they are for you I just use one pole because you need tb right there or you miss a lot and you dont tangle into other lines so bad
I got home and counted. I had 16 altogether. They were all good size I had 55 bluegill in it at one time last year lol but it can hold more than I really care to clean at one time
I just realized that you mainly fish across the river from me. I'm in the Muldrow area ,I fish above the Mayo dam. There's a few good areas there also the local Roland lake, it has lots of small bass and crappy. I went the other day on the river caught two nice blues which is perfect for good Friday.

Nice action on the Ugly Stik. Is that a 7’ Ultralight?
No it’s around 6 foot and I believe it’s a light action but it is a lot of fun. I’ve had it for a long time.
Man I been missing your videos, somehow TH-cam unsubscribed me so I had to re- subscribe
Shoot that looks like a nice kayak place there
It would be the other side of the road that I went to. They have a place there where you can launch a small boat or kayak.
