I have ran nothing but John Deere graders for 24 years, The old 570a and B models, 672 b, 672ch, and currently a 672 GP that I’ve had for three years now and I absolutely love that machine it is the best grader on the market.
I run a JD 772 GP...it was a great machine. It didn't have the horsepower the CAT 140 did, but it was a comfortable machine to operate and easy to maintain too.
Oh hell no they can't beat the ol CAT 12 14 16 H series for sure the 163H a great motor grader 6x6 hell yes not to mention the 24H its piano style is what I was told
I’ve ran finger tip controls and the joy stick controls, finger tip controls are the way to go. I’ve ran graders for many years and every time I run a joy stick control jd grader, it’s like learning to operate the machine again. And the joy stick control functions are out of place compared to finger tip controls and the old antler leavers.
