Personally, I liked the book a lot better and I still think that you should give it a try. The parents were nonexistent, basically except the love in the detail and everything is just a lot better and I personally like the book better.

As someone who has read the book and watched the show, THE BOOK IS SO MUCH BETTER!! Maybe some aspects of the book aren't very practical, but the show is a lot more chaotic, unrealistic, and confusing in my opinion. Being able to understand Jackie's thoughts and feelings in the book, clarifies her decisions a lot better. Also, i love how you get to find out more about the other Walter kids, and explore their character development in the book. And as for the writing itself, I found to be straight to the point and clear instead of rambling on about things that don't matter. So, I think the writing, character development, and plot is excellent, and I couldn't recommend this book enough. I love the show so much, but the book is next level. Anywayssss... That's all. The saddest part in the book for me was when lee got Jackie's sweatshirt and he told her the real Reason him and Isaac went to live with the Walters - when i watched the show i honestly wondered why lee and Isaac were there ❤
The show is super cheesy. Spoiler, she gets lost in the woods and everybody is celebrating Nathan coming home and nobody wondered where Jackie was lol. Then Jackie felt like she had to help Cole when he showed up drunk to his mom’s award ceremony.

Personally, I’d have to say that you’re wrong because I read the book and enjoyed it a lot. The show is good shirt and I like to have a parent connect Ed better, but the Book had way better detail, and just a lot that I loved way better in the book and had wished that they added to the show.

i read the book, i thought it was good although sometimes the grammar didn't make alot of since so I had to reread it to understand it but otherwise I loved the book. Also, if you want to read the book, read the damn book. I'm not a huge bookworm but this is a quick reading book and it's actually the book that got me into romance novels so.

Just finished watching it with my 2nd oldest sister and she kept laughing at how I was hating on Jackie and Cole after what they did. Jackie is a TERRIBLE person and Cole is a filthy liar. If he actually cared about Alex, he would’ve pushed Jackie away despite how he felt for her and Jackie, trauma is no reason to sink so LOW.

Well, this is just an opinion so feel free to keep it to yourself because many people actually enjoy the book, and "badly written" was not needed because the book doesn't have any typos and has definitely improved from Wattpad. Don't discourage people of reading the book just because you didn't like it.

I saw this video and didn’t buy the book for a long time but I’m so glad I now got it because it’s amazing and it’s one of my new favorite books
