  • Penang is known for its street food scene and one of the must-visit spots is the Chulia Street Night Hawker Stalls. In the evenings, the place transforms into a food street serving a variety of dishes like Curry Mee, Char Koay Teow and Wan Tan Mee. The lively atmosphere and busy street creates a sense of authenticity and somehow makes the food yummier!

    The sesame oil flavor was so nice in the wantan mee and all that delicious pork lard! Also like how they included fried and boiled wantan and had it in the noodles instead of on the side in soup

    • @PuriandSue

      Love the different types of wantan too. So different from the one in KL.

    Apom!!! We also had that last time, but wasn't sure if it's like a mini version of apam balik?
    Definitely, a sweet ending to complete the Chulia Street food tour! 😍
    We also tried the muah cee there, really nice 👍

    • @PuriandSue
      @PuriandSue  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We saw the muar chee but it looked closed, so we didn't order that. I'm not too sure about the names. They're both called apom or apam balik. Just that it can come in a thicker form or different fillings as well. Usually found at pasar malams
