I am Thai. From birth until 62 years old, I lived in Chiang Mai. Never once have I taken a second class train to travel directly to Bangkok. Because it is too much torture for the body to endure. And it's not worth it for your own health. Short trips on 2nd class trains are more appropriate than long overnight trips. You two are amazing. I really want to give you a trophy.
