No. Exact opposite. My skin has never looked better. Sorry if that sounded like I'm gloating - I'm not. Co-vid coincided with me starting a proper skincare regimen at 50 for the first time in my life. And glad I did. I got to be a bit experimental during lockdown too and dip my toe into stronger actives when I didn't care if there was down time as I wasn't going anywhere anyway. But my teenage daughter's skin has taken a hit. Badly. She has KP and mild breakouts normally. We've just had months of continuous breakouts at this stage.

@Sweet Serenity I'm doing intermittent fasting for years. Haven't lost a pound. Mind you I'm almost bald now (female, 50) and thyroid tests showed underactive thyroid. GP did second test and came back normal and he REFUSES to do another test. Meanwhile my hair is falling out, I could sleep all day (but not at night) my heartbeat is irregular and my kidney's are starting to fail.

Even though I'm almost 70, I still have "issues" with foundations on my fussy skin. Sometimes it's winter-dry skin, sometimes, I have my oily spots (usually my nose). I'm trying out a new technique, which is simply combining two foundations to match those areas. I set out a contact lens case and put Lancome's Teint Idole (longwear) in one, and Loreal's Super Blendable in the other. Now, I can dab my finger in each, applying and blending them as needed. I used to love Maybelline's Fit Me Poreless on my skin, so I'm wondering how combining that with their Dewy & Smooth might work.
I also like Charlotte Tilbury's Setting Spray, which really does seem to extend foundation wear. I think that's always been my biggest issue with foundations. I agree with many others here - the Loreal Foundation looks great on you!

MAC Face and Body is my holy grail. I get tons of compliments on my skin when I’m wearing it, and I have roseacea underneath! It’s lightweight and the coverage isn’t heavy but it’s buildable. Because it’s hydrating, it won’t last 12 hours on your nose and chin but I set it with powder in the T zone and it can be easily touched up throughout the day because it’s so buildable. And has an SPF of 25. They have another makeup in a tube (forget name) that is similar but more coverage for evening. And NO fragrance! 🙏🏼 I don’t know why more TH-camrs don’t talk about MAC foundations? After 20+ years I keep coming back to it, and it doesn’t make me look cakey or cracked. I have combination skin and it’s just luminous yet lightweight, which is great here in the humid south. I love it, but I don’t mind glowy finish vs matte. It’s much more youthful if you ask me.

I loved the Chanel foundation's performance enough that it was almost worth the high price. But after a year or so of wearing it, I finally couldn't stand the fragrance anymore. So I took the plunge and tried L'oreal True Match on your recommendation. Now I can honestly say I will never have to try a high end foundation again! It really is that good.

However, I LOVE the new IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation. Incredibly natural looking! On my super dry 61 year old skin it has a satin, skin like finish. To give it more luminosity, I use the Charlotte Tillbury Hollywood Flawless Filter as a primer or even a little mixed in and I can get a gorgeous luminous glow with the IT Foundation. I've used this, or one very similar, in the past, but now I'm going back to it!
Just bought some very light/white makeup drops from ELF so that I can lighten my Laura Mercier foundation that was too too dark for me. (They refunded my money AT Sephora, and since I couldn't get to a post office, they told me to Gift it to a friend!) But no friend is this dark! So I matched the other day and finally found out how much I loved the Laura Mercier! Learned this from watching Angie Use Her Drops!

Hi Angie! :-) My skin is normal/dry. Boy have I fallen in love with Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Foundation! Saw it on LisaLisaD1, tried a sample I had and decided to try it with the Sephora 20% off. WOW! "Spendy" but 1oz pump bottle and a little goes a long way. Gorgeous, lightweight but soft coverage with a sponge and beautiful with just my fingers! I need less undereye concealer, it's fresh looking and lasts well! I'd like to see you review it! Either way, I really love this! FYI- Stila's foundation is on sale for $19.50 on the Stila site. Grab them up! Think they are being discontinued?

No 7 Beautifully Matte is a great foundation for mature skin. Use it sparingly around the mouth and chin, where the most movement occurs. It is almost full coverage so use sparingly. It reduces redness so much, which I find is very aging. Yes, it is matte, but does not emphasize wrinkles. Looks like velvet on the skin.

You didn’t mention the EL double wear , but that is my go to if I will be wearing my mask for awhile as I find it doesn’t transfer to my mask. When we no longer have to wear mask I may burn them!
