my daughter started college Aug 2022, she received 9,800. In Pell grants. she is an out of state student so it is still leaving 4,000 left to pay. You stated July 1 is the cut date, my question is she completed the financial info 4/2021 on July 1st the the funds were already approved but was payed till class started in Aug, 2022. Qualified or not?🤞🏼

Hello, I had a question about student loan forgiveness, if I partially paid my student loan off, will I get that money back? Or does the forgiveness only apply to the remaining loan balance? For example if I had an $8k loan paid down to $5k, will I receive the $3k difference?

It depends on when you paid it. If you just paid it you should be able to claw it back.
