The parrot's name is "Tong", he's really cool. Just got back from staying at Princess Resort and Great view resort. Will live in Ao Nang part of next year as a digital nomad. Love this area.

For those who wish to avoid the wading and climbing into and out of the boat at Ao Nang, go to Ao Nam Mao Pier instead. It leaves from an actual pier and arrives at Railay East where they have a floating pontoon pier. I stayed at Railay Village Resort in November 2024, it’s so much better at night when all the day-trippers clear off 😂 if you ask at the bar at the beach end of walking street, they give you a mat and a lantern for the beach and bring you your cocktails 🍹 I sat there at midnight with turtles flopping past me
Hey Tony, Really nice and informative video! If you plan to make more videos from Thailand in the near future, would you also touch the subject of the weather conditions, since this is the wet season - but how wet? Is it frustrating or actually a relief when you get a shower? Thanks for sharing a video from the low season as I have already planned to go to Thailand next july with my daughter.
So far it rains once or twice a day. Sometimes only for ten minutes, sometimes all day. It seems 3 out of 7 days are totally sunny. Doesn't really bother me.
@@tony.travels Sounds more than acceptable to me. It's not easy to get a feeling for the weather in the different areas of Thailand when it's summer in Europe, so I'm grateful for your on-location experiences!
I was there few weeks ago. I'd say Dude Weed is prolly the best weed store around, just along the main street, you can't miss it. Look for the bars that have gigs starting in evening, it's epic. Have fun!
