This might sound weird but make your zanns shoulder medium, make your belt zens and one jewlery kosh. This will give you a little more resistance with zero downfall. But I’m a mid-maxer at heart 😅. Every little stat counts if you can get it with zero downfall
Also he should put the nirnhoned weapon in the offhand for 9 more weap/spell dmg since the offhand weapon gives 6% weapon dmg boost due to the dual wield passives.
That doesn’t even make any sense one jewelry our kosh you lose your five piece and how can you be wearing the waiters kilt you lose all your sets this does not make any sense. How does that work? Please make a new video people have to be blind to see that your build is dumpster trash.
is there a current updated list of what works as a ZEN dot? According to multiple sources Wall of elements does not count nor Deadly cloak, eruption, flames of oblivion...
"for each damage over time effect you've placed on them" you don't place any of those skills you mentioned on the target they are all placed on yourself or the floor...
What if you use a bow instead?I’ve been seeing a lot of group members who play zenkosh use a bow. Idk it it hits hard or helps with the zens uptime. Idk. And what if you use velothi amulet instead kilt?
You can run bow if you want I don’t think it’s more dps but I haven’t tested it so I’m not sure. Although if you do run bow you may have to build stam which would go nicely with stone giant. Velothi as a general rule is lower dps for most builds but very viable in content because harpooners is situational. Imo running spaulder is also a very good choice as well. Hope that helps 👍
Hate to ask this, but are veteran trial groups really still running Alkosh in 2024? It seems like running a Crimson Oath/Tremorscale main tank is all that is needed to reach pen cap. Wouldn't it be more common to see a Zendk wearing Relequen's as its trial set, since it synergizes well with adding additional dots?
Answering no to both questions is contradictory, but I think I understand your meaning. I Used Alkosh in a trial recently and it is surprisingly easy to keep up now with the Arcanist synergies.@@N00bie666

@@bigcbmc2984 oh ok, Zen's applies a debuff to any and all enemies you light attack for 20 seconds, you then need 5 single target dots on that enemy to gain full effect. flame, bleed and poison status effect count towards this total of single target dots applied. velothi would be good if kilt stacks are not up enough or if you are chaining alot, but even then it would probably be better to run maelstrom arena staff back bar, Zen front and Alkosh body. Support DD roles where you have to get good uptimes on dots aren't ideal for beginners anyway. Poor uptime on buffs from a support DD has a significant impact on the entire team's dps, so you need someone good doing the job. As a beginner it's better to start as a parse DD where if your rotation is poor it only knocks a bit off your own dps, not everybody's.

Hey is this build combo still good with U40/U41 ?
Plitzzy, will this build change for the latest patch?
The version written in the video description is for the old stamina link
Thank you! Updated correctly now. 👍
Could stam version still work?
Thank you I built one from scratch and it’s a little short thank you.
@@ivywhittaker1508I would think so, just the rotation is tougher. I'm building that on my Orc DK that I also use as a Tank.

You only have 4 pieces of zens on the front bar ?
Back bar is an inferno staff, which a two handed weapon, so it counts as 2 piece.
So 3 piece from jewellery + 2 piece from staff.

Isn’t this only 4 dots? Doesn’t Zens need 5?
I asked the same question but after reading on what proces zens I didn’t realize that alkosh also applies the zens dot
He's got 7 going if they're all up simultaneously.
- degen
- trap
- flames
- claw
- alkosh
- burning
- poison
