I just test rode both rs and hunter. Oru doubtumila. The engine refinment. The power. Ellamkondum rs is better. I dont even know how hunter is compared. Yea hunter is a good bike. Compred to previous classics its really good. Pakshe its too compact. Youll miss the riding feel too. Id suggest honda. Undoubtedly. Pakshe ellarum just try both bikes. Its just 35k Save some more money

I think for Kerala’s road and traffic condition requires a low end torque bike, which is Hunter. To ride through hilly roads, filter through traffic, and generally to go slow as there are twists and turns, I prefer low end torque bikes. On other hand, CB350 demands to push harder which is not the case on Kerala roads. 🙏🏻
I have a cb350rs and I’m 5’7 tall guy which means I can only half foot , still enk Munnar il polum traffic block varumbolum ilaathapolum preshnangal undayitila .
@@rc729-n2x May be you are correct. Have you used Hunter on the same situation though? I’m not a fanboy of hunter and I have no plan to buy it in near future. Just saying that low and mid torque bikes will be more suitable for Kerala than a high speed bikes.

low end torque is not a problem. just test drive one. you dont need to go all up to the 5th gear to extract power.

Tried RE Hunter, satisfied with engine and performance. But severely disappointed with handling, at corners and curves the weight of the whole bike ends up in your arms. Severe hand pain after frequent driving in curvy roads.
Definitely highness..so much refinement...smooth clutch ,superior suspension,riding comfort,most refined engine and no vibration at all..goes easy on on the hands and back..
Limited service options frequent brake pads changing,low visibility led lights, low profile tyres are one of the minor negative

As correctly said in Kerala roads its always important to keep shifting gears and being able to ride the bike slower in higher gear in an absolute must. Hunter 350 makes sense.

Sumn about the Hunter. well evident as a speed lover hpw much more refined honda bikes are, but being broke yet wanting a good bike Hunter is built for a short guy like me. Also KL Rider, the instrument cluster can be upgrade with a tripper navigation, not that big of an upgrade but maps + cleaner

actually on paper both have same seat height of 800mm . even on RE official brouchure it says so. but hunter definitely feels low beacuse of its compactness.

Second for the compactness of the body and precise handling. Third serviceability. Added Features never entice a real rider , so I don't consider it more . Definitely serviceability is a big factor for RE bikes. Because almost after one year usage RE bikes will be mostly in service centre's for frequent engine issues, which you will never face in case of cb350.
