In the manual, they say it’s for life and the position of this fuel filter was very difficult to find in Peugeot official Servicebox documentation for professionnal. It is written that is is inside the fuel tank but when I looked at fuel pump I thought it not logical to put the filter inside. I have 308 thp t7 140 hp from 2009. I will check if the fuel filter is at the same place for my car and tell you so for others owners like me. Thank you for the video 👌👍
all car have fuel filter..i don’t know about peugeot 208 fuel filter location..there must be near the fuel tank..if not under the back seat maybe under the car near the fuel tank or inside the fuel tank with the fuel pump assembly
When u turn ignition on the fuel pump will activate n pump fuel to your injector to start the engine..in time your fuel line will have pressure..but when your engine off the pressure in fuel line will push some fuel in the return line hose back to fuel pump..so your fuel line didn’t have pressure..if u check at the fuel pump have two hose..1 fuel out n 1 fuel return..hope this will happy u..thank you..👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to help..yes bought from euromotive (shopee)..honestly it’s feel the same nothing obvious..just thought it’s a good idea to change the filter cos it never been change before in 5/7 years...so your injectors didn’t get dirty...it’s nonsense Peugeot cliam their fuel filter is for life..they just wanna sell cars...everything got wear n tear..

If i not mistaken the video that i link is for diesel rcz engine..sory for that..if yr car is petrol engine it must be at the back..i hv no idea on RCZ..but normally petrol car fuel filter is at the back..maybe in the fuel pump in the tank..or beside the tank..or under the tank..

In a Peugeot 208 I have the same port hole through to the fuel tank, but no filter... Apparently 208s don't have fuel filters? What?!?

No need..the fuel pressure only got when u turn on the key or turn on ignition...

This is not a new style peugeot 308 1.5 diesel fuel filter, when the filter is located behind passenger side rear door under the car!
