The modern aircraft have the advantage of computer aided design, and modern composites. The Steinbach can survive a snap roll at about 260 mph, although the pilot would not. For those of us who are working stiffs, the only way we can afford to fly any of these planes is in RC form, with the AMA. The further back in time you fly, toward the early Pitts, the more you experience leaving the universe of point and shoot, to the almost rudder-prime Pitts with its insane short wing moment and crossed over ailerons to control rudder roll. All along this continuum, when you hit the faster speed of the MX series, or middle speed of the Yaks, or the biplane tumbles in almost pure stall, there is a point where each plane starts to look dangerous. When a pilot flies this multi-dimensional danger line, the plane is both beautiful and awe inspiring. But the early Pitts get my vote, because they was designed in the 1930's, along with the Cub. And for anyone to design aerobatic capability before computer simulations, is a huge accomplishment. And the biplane Pitts, so close to WWI, with all its quirky behavior, has got it all in the danger class. But an RC-Guys model Pitts, put a 35cc gas engine in it. and try it out for yourself. Well, flying these aircrafts is dangerous. I prefer Extra or Sukhoi as the less dangerous alternative to Pitts. Pitts is a beast. My experience is with "Flight Unlimited" sim.
I'm absolutely stuned what these Edge 540 are capable of I'd really like to see simulated dogfights low and mid altitude between them a F-16 Falcon a F-35 Sparrow and a F-22 Raptor I'm pretty sure even if Slower these Edge outmaneuver all of them.

I've seen a Sukhoi do that, and it sounds pretty awesome too. Radio control pattern ships always have a power to weight like that, but not a whole lot of real manned aircraft do... An upward spin is like giving Isaac Newton the middle finger. You probably shouldn't DO that.... That sort of contempt for the Law is going to get you locked up.... ... or get you kilt....

AJ Saloga when I first met SEAN D TUCKER, he used to fly a PITTS, MODIFIED, but later he changed to what he is flying now, back in the day, he used to fly the SUSSEX NJ AIRSHOW, was always a blast. There were many others no longer with us, but sadly the airshow is no more.
funny.... I've flown a extra 300 (my friends), Pitts Special(Art Scholl's) and a decathlon (my uncles)....and I still dont have my pilots license.....all great planes...but that Pitts can turn like no other
Looking at these manouevres it beggars belief that I've done some of those manouevres as a passenger in an Extra 300L! My 'Utter Nutter's flight can be viewed on my TH-cam channel.
Love all the planes (heck, what's not to like about an aircraft you can wear like a tight jacket?), but I found the speed of the editing rather frustrating. Purely my (unprofessional) opinion, but it would have been nicer if you'd held each shot for about fifteen seconds so that we could 'get in the groove' with the pilots and their machines. I thought that the rapid, almost frantic cuts made the experience more like watching a pop music video, where the emphasis is on the sound, not the vision. Aw, no fair, no fair! Elli wanna see plane go zoom! You picked out some damn cool flying contraptions, though... ;-)
Can't believe you forgot the brazilian EMB-314 or A-29 Super Tucano... It was no coincidence that the USAF chose this model as a training, light attack and support aircraft to replace the M-35 helicopters.

A Pitts, single seat, is only $25k. I know people who spend half that, per year, on alcohol. It is all about the choices one makes.

Cessna 152 Aerobat. Can do +6G/-3G. A lot of sailplanes like ASK21, G103. They can all do +6G/-4G.

I can't believe you even mention EMB-341! It's a military trainer which can fly some aerobatics, but it's not an aerobatic airplane.
