I am recovering from a recent brain injury/surgery. Unfortunately I'm no longer the person I used to be , I fell into a deep depression. My husband remembered how much I used to love coloring so he bought me a coloring book and pencils. I sat there for a couple of days doing nothing and one day he handed me my iPad with one of your TH-cam tutorials playing. That was it for me, the way you lay color down is mesmerizing to me. I am so filled with gratitude for you and the many hours you dedicate to your art and share with us. Next to my 3 yr old granddaughter you give me joy to get up in the morning. My granddaughter will come wake me up to tell me it's time to color. Even if I'm too tired to color it's so relaxing just to watch. There are not enough words to thank you for this gift you have given me. I'm going to be selfish and say I hope you continue this art form for a very long time.
Me also, I'm colorblind but love the feeling coloring gives me, but because I'm colorblind my good friends told me gently my color choices were all wrong. Thanks to Chris, an amazing artist, I am able to color with complete confidence. The same friends tell me now I do a beautiful job. Thank you Chris, my friends tell me how amazing your work is. I hope it continues too. I brag to them about your work.

Keni Vrataric wow I couldn’t resist reading your post, how very sorry I am to hear this😢😢😢 I certainly can relate as I was recently diagnosed with MS and it impairs all cognitive issues. I use to able to draw anything from imagination or looking at something and now all of those abilities are gone, plus remembering things on a daily basics. Not even remembering if I just took my medicine is difficult. I at least hope you’re able to get your memory back. The brain is so mysterious and unique. I have to keep coming back to remember how to shade, shadowing and such. I sincerely hope you get your memory back and not have to endure what I do on a daily basis. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I'm so stressed out right now that I'm ruining every page of my own that I touch. It's so relaxing to just watch you color (especially when it's a book I don't have and know I can't worry about coloring along to). So - THANK YOU!

There is absolutely no doubt you do the most beautiful work and allow your audience to do beautiful work. I just wish you put the complete pallet below the video. I have the palette to do the hair, then have to look for another in my binder and I am not sure if I should put the first back in the binder. It take my consentration away from colouring and unfortunately part of the enjoyment. I personally like to have everything at hand as I colour. Thank you for your hard work it is a joy to see the image appear before one as you colour.

I would make one comment: Using only the PCnumber to identify the pencil in use does not help your lesson; it is, in fact, a major pain the back. Consider this: i cannot find list of Premier colors in numerical order ANYWHERE on the web. Please go back to using color names; tI for one would be very happy. P.S.: I see this was posted in 2016, so if it is old news I apologize.

This video is very interesting to watch, but I wish it was a colouring where you talk about what you're doing here and why. Tutorials/speed colourings/real time colourings are all so much more beneficial (to me, as I'm a beginner) and background music is either a dealbreaker or, in this case, I just muted it (I found the piece a little on the melancholy side 😄 although it certainly is beautiful music 🎼 ). Although... I'm thinking 🤔 I can see by your work that you are an incredibly talented artist, and actually I'm just thinking that, even without step-by-step instructions, I could watch them on mute, especially if I wanted to relax (I don't listen to any music at all anymore) and just by watching what you're doing, I could probably watch that for hours on end and really still enjoy it and find it beneficial. But yes, have you done any colouring videos in which you talk about what/why you're doing? I'd be very interested in those (as well as these)? 💕 from Australia 🇦🇺
