I doubt smii7y or Kryoz will read this but a couple of things in this session really bothered me. I have over 120 days survived so I have the experience, so here's a few pointers. Pine saplings regenerate so they're a great source for fibrous leaves. By creating a loom, they can craft cloth, which would've prevented the whole getting lost situation. Inventory management is terrible. Have one container with all the tools, one with material needed for a water still, and one for a smoker. That will help with island hopping. Aside that, the series is entertaining because of these two. Even if they're not good at playing this game
