    Again.
You naturally headbang to the tempo.
    I'm blown away by this.
The tempo is basically hidden and only depicted by the snare drum for most of the song.
But here you are in the first verse, just nailing it.
    That's a gift, dude!

I was about to make the same comment. He locked into the groove right away, and it's made up almost entirely of syncopations except for the snare on 2 and 4. I've never heard anything like this rhythm. It's like a syncopation overload.

Some people can just do that. Idk if it’s because of all of the music he listens to with rhythm or just hes born with it?

Meshuggah is literally the sickest live band I've seen ever. These guys are unbelievable.

You have an incredible ear for music. You will lose your mind after hearing Phantoms by Meshuggah (among dozens of other songs of theirs)

bro you gotta check out their best track, Dancers to a Discordant System. Grooviest riffs and polyrhythms I’ve heard.

I've been trying to learn that on drums for over a year. I've been stuck on the guitar solo part the whole time. It's very easy to play, but it's difficult to play AND feel the 4/4 groove. I agree, the song is a "groove" masterpiece.

Incredibly impressive that you managed to find the snare and headbang to it on the first try with violent sleep. I'm really happy you did this song specifically, it's my fav Meshuggah song ever due to it being so complex while also being really groovy. Sadly they didn't play the song live when I saw them in July but we got lots of other goodies like straws pulled.

Glad you enjoyed the track! Next I would suggest "Pravus" live. This is such an epic performance from Summer Breeze 2019 festival. The song starts at approximately 3 minute mark. Here is link to that video: th-cam.com/video/ESSOqLY8a1k/w-d-xo.html

This one may not be as good camera work wise but the mix is better, in case you want to hear a recent set of Meshuggah live th-cam.com/video/3Ht351GZVQM/w-d-xo.html had pravus and many other goodies like tvsor.

@@KytexEdits Both are great to watch but I personally would prefer the mix on Summer Breeze 2019 actually. The camera work is top notch too.

SkullKing I see you have no Shadow Of Intent on the channel.
I suggest starting with their song Malediction or Barren and Breathless Macrocosm.

You’re right, i need to get into them more. I do like them a lot though. So far I’ve listened to:
      We descend
      The Return
      The Horror Within
      The Catacombs
      The Heretic Prevaisl
      Gravesinger
      From Ruin We Rise
      Barren and Breathless Macrocosm
I’ll definitely check out Malediction though! 🤘🏽

@@skyTT31 Their best song imo is Blood in the Sands of Time, god tier breakdown in middle if the song with Chuck Billy from Testament on the bridge to the breakdown.

Yes! The brand is called Goove. I bought mines on Amazon. It comes with a variety of sizes and I selected the 32.8ft size. It’s around the same price as before which is $32.99! It’s pretty sick and I recommend it!

    • @skyTT31

The brand is called Govee. I ordered the 32 inch set up on Amazon that includes a music option. It has a built in mic, hence the reaction of the lights. Highly recommend it. 🤘
