Prelude: Gabriel Pierné Op. 29, No 1

Organist Anthony Asmar performs the Prelude from "Trois pièces pour grand orgue", Op. 29, by Gabriel Pierné, at Sacred Heart Church in Norfolk, VA. The photo shows the interior of the Basilique Ste-Clotilde in Paris, the church where Pierné served as organiste titulaire from 1890-1898. The Cavaillé-Coll organ at the Basilique Ste-Clotilde was home for many other famous organists as well, such as Théodore Dubois, César Franck, Charles Tournemire, and Jean Langlais.
