Although i associate Wilhelm Sauer more with A.G.Ritter and Gustav Merkel and period German composers, this work by Gabriël Pierné sounds marvellous!

Neither Pierné nor Ritter nor Merkel on Sauer-Organ! 🙉 Rheinberger composed for (mechanical) Kegelladen-Orgel, Reger and Karg-Elert for pneumatic ones (Sauer!), but Merkel, Ritter, Liszt etc. for mechanical Schleifladen-Orgel! Nevertheless Andrew plays perfectly and it sounds very good! 😉

Agréable d'entendre ces pièce de G. Pierné, dommage, rarement aux programmes des concerts d'orgues, tout comme certaines de L.V. Beethoven
