    Great video and really good example Kie. It feels just as good getting a result from racing smart as it does having a good battle (for me anyway!).

    Great insight Kie, I think racecraft is one of the main things a lot of GT7 drivers are missing. Definitely a helpful video on how to race smart, as opposed to racing hard and save position.

    The one piece of advice i hope everyone really takes to heart is "not to be too agressive. Sometimes its better to work with the person in front or behind to get either closer to someone else ahead or farther away from those behind. Racecraft completely goes out the window if you dive up every corner or battling for position every corner with someone. You both are just losing time the more you battle or go side by side. Also people need to learn when someone is just faster than them. Alot of people just defend defend defend when its probably best to just let that faster person overtake so you dont slow both of you down.

      It all depends on the race, always look at the map if you are way clear then fight, but if fighting is going to cost you more positions by the end the race sometimes better play smart 👊

    If Jim (crewchief) were your spotter when Josete and the other driver passed you he will tell you 'Come on, defend better ...' hehehe. But, good strategy! Hopefully many people will watch.

    Is it a good strategy to sometimes defend your position to close the gap of the car behind you and others behind it? Sometimes I do this and it forces the car behind to defend their position so I can get away. Is it too risky or a good thing to do?

    07:05 question, with that little move to the right and then back to the left is that "100%" legit so close to the braking zone? Once you go right the car behind would think that you're going to defend that corner so they could go deeper in to that braking zone for the outside line but then you move back at the last second which forces them to brake. I know that you can move twice to take a line i'm just wondering what the "rule" is in terms of how close you are to braking zone. I also realize that you don't really take the inside line so it's not really a double move because it's a single move. I do this myself and I have been tapped from the back from drivers that didn't have the averseness and I'm usually the one that gets blamed for moving back.

      I was still ahead in the braking zone and I braked very late so no chance he could send it from that far back he had none the car at the side so was fine to take normal line you see this in F1 all the time, obviously if he had some his car along side then would be different.

    Dont u think you would have get better result by piting later in the race ?

      No because the undercut over slow drivers, getting caught behind someone 1sec slower and battling can cost you 2 seconds a lap, the safer option in these races is to pit earlier hence teg good results, if you start at the front obviously pit later for me 👍
