Just have common sense when traveling to any country, (don't go out at night on your own, stay in touristic places, etc, etc.) As for the internet you can bring roaming, buy a virtual SIM or buy one here, and its better to keep cash if you want to go to local markets, apple wallet or even cards are just part of big international brand stores.
