Thanks for update Igor! Next time would be interesting to see you trying to cross from the Polish-Russian border, from Gdańsk to Kaliningrad and then to Saint-Petersburg. Maybe it is not the cheapest way, but can be a alternative option for people.
It’s a good option from Britain, eg £15 Ryan air from Liverpool or Luton to Gdańsk then bus to Kaliningrad, fly to St Petersburg for around 5100rub. Checked costs myself around 1st feb.

Thanks for this video Igor. Slight confusion. Is it the case that there are two bridges from Narva to Ivangorod ? And is it the case that one of them is/was pedestrians only. When you talk about the bridge from Narva to Ivangorod are you talking about the 'road' bridge that has a footpath running alongside the road? IF that is the bridge you are talking about then are you saying the footpath next to the road is still open but that the road itself is closed? Best wishes
I used to ahve to functional border crossing bridges, the other one ment only for pedestirians (the current one remianing as the one for pedestrians and vars) was closed for maintanence like couple years ago I believe - but i think it was Estonia's excuse to jsut close it. Now Russia closs this only pedestrian-transport bridge for maintanence for 2 years. This one is now open only for pedestrians
Igor...thank you. My wife and I are staying in Tallinn for the Christmas Markets. I would love to travel to Narva and cross the bridge just to eat at a restaurant in Ivangorod. Is this possible to do? I would like to walk across into Russia for just a few hours.
Hello Igor thx for the Videos, can i cross the Narva border walking and take the Skyline bus at the stop near the hotel in Ivangorod ? what will i need to have to cross the border being from Latin America? Do i need also to Book the bus in advanced to ST.Petersburg or just wait for the next mini bus to arrive?

and no need to show a reservation for the passport control. the reservation for a hotel might be needed (they will ask an adrress of your stay. you can make a reservation and pay on location via tutu.ru (also as an app)
