Canucks forward Brock Boeser was emotional as he spoke about his fathers ongoing fight with cancer and why it meant so much to him to have an extra week with him.
Brock had such a hard life. its hard to imagine. He is more mature then a lot of 40 year olds. He is a great person and a great player. Wisdom is born from pain. Brock is a prime example of that.
duke will live another 15 -25 years man. kid is blessed.. hes in vancouver. hes blessed. most importantly, alot of ppl praying for happiness for the team. so prayers go out for brocks happiness. prayers for dukes recovery.
Brock's dad had a rough time. Just off the top of my head he's had Parkinson's, a car crash (that caused brain damage), a stroke and the cancer he is currently dealing with. Can't imagine how Brock's been able to deal with all the pain he's had to go through in his life already.
i smoke weed. and drink. Brock scores goals. and i think he bangs a lot of hot girls too. check out his instagram. all girls lolol; from vancouver too haah
dewayne mill yeah, they’re not good with this. I forget who but someone’s wife or dad or grandfather (I forgot who) and after the game the media asked about that. Like let the dude have privacy
@@VacouverCanucks I was just gonna say that. Brock has been incredibly open and honest about his dad's health for years, especially with the media. It's not an off limit question.
AKsleepygirl yes! It was Patty Kane. It’s like, I know it’s your job. But calm the fuck down. That’s why I like Torterella. He just doesn’t let them get their story
So proud to call myself a Canucks fan and a fan of Brock's. He's a true gentleman of the game and a great human being, as well as a player. I tweeted him (not that he cares) to wish him and his family well yesterday. That's what supporting the team is all about - on and off the ice.
I think the people who disliked the video are people who have souls and think media stations shouldn’t be profiting and gaining views off the Boeser’s family’s misfortune
@@arteenmohammadi5475 I meant it more in a he deserves to have some more light hearted moments in life kinda way, he's had to be a real strong person early in life and we all see and respect that, he's a classy great guy it seems. So more that kinda way, obviously his dad being healthy is everyone's #1 focus and hope but I wasn't focusing on that just more so Brock being a strong individual
I can talk about this first hand. Everybody deals with the pain their own way but for a lot of people part of dealing with it is talking about it with others who are fighting with it and feeling you are not alone. I don't think it was a bad question at all. Take it day by day Brock, were all behind you. Family comes first, then hockey
Duke was a selfish distraction for a very long time and it's good to finally turn a page on all that so that Brock can focus of finishing a much needed power skating class.

Matthew Brando no you won’t, stop saying shit to make you look like a better person
I did pray, Rem. Sounds like you need prayers too
Eric S. It’s not mentally healthy talking to an imaginary friend in the sky
Eric S. Oh yeah, let me do that real quick
Rem Who said he’s talking to a man in the sky?
Hockey fights cancer. The hockey community is with you Brock.
God, that’s hard to watch.
Far from a Canucks fan but I really like this kid. Glad he got some time with his old man. Hopefully he makes a full recovery!

Brock has been super open about it though. I get what you're saying though. It's about respect.
A true leader let's you in. Brock's got it.

God bless you Brock. Solid dude right here
He’s a beast of a player on the ice and good person off the ice. ❤️
God bless you Brock, God bless your father.

I wish you the best Brock I hope he gets well soon and your dad gets back into good health
You don't need to say Sorry Brock
Whoever disliked this has no soul
I think it was due to the media swarming him with dumb questions.
I think the people who disliked the video are people who have souls and think media stations shouldn’t be profiting and gaining views off the Boeser’s family’s misfortune
This man deserves a Stanley Cup for what he's been through at very least
No his dad just deserves to be healthy after what the boesee family has been through

Praying for your fam Brock!!! Keeping you in my prayers. Hockey is just a game, but this is life
We’re all with Brock, we know they’ll both pull through.
Huge respect for Brock and his dad! 🙏🙏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I really like this guy
Hugs from Sweden Brock.
we are with you brock:)
kinda dumb reporters. Stay strong Brock
Such a good guy.
Praying for all you❤️
Why do the reporters ask these questions wtf
Prayers to the Boeser family I hope Brock’s dad kicks cancers ass
I don't like seeing him have to discuss it like this, just let the family deal with it.
If not, everyone will be swarming around discussing his contract which is the least of his concern at this time
Love this guy
Win us the cup for Duke, Brock!
stupid question but I hope thats on purpose Brock 1:06
Cancer sucks
Why would you post this?
Tiiger because it’s there job
@@licmysak4130 Well they could try letting him be a human. Thats none of anyones business but the family and friends of them..

This is an emotional video and you’re saying first, the disrespect that shows is unreal show some class
