SPOILER ALERT: The wheel scene at 14:14 is one of the best scenes in the movie if you understand the lore especially after you re-watch it after knowing prabhas character is karna. Before going into the Mahabharat karna suffers three main drawbacks. First one is that his armor which essentially makes him immortal gets taken from him. Second and Third are curses, one placed by his guru parashuram (again an avatar of vishnu) which makes him forget all the essential archery knowledge when he needs it the most. Last curse is placed by earth goddess. When he needs the most the ground under him gives out which how he essentially dies. His chariot wheel gets stuck in the ground and doesn't budge. This is also a famous image of karna you see online him trying to push the wheel out by leaving his weapons giving arjun the chance to kill his brother. So at 14:14 you see the wheel budge finally and fall into his hand with the image of vishnu behind it. This is kind of like a representation that both his curses are lifted. That is why after that scene prabhas mentions something has changed.
In actual vyasa Mahabharat there's no curse from the goddess earth, it's added for drama. The third curse was given by a Brahmin whose cattle were slain by Karna by mistake.

It was unnecessary comedy and lame writing in the first half with bhairava [prabhas]🤦 Plus the action sequence at the start of the movie with prabhas was just horrible This movie went a Bollywood way to pick a hero and do unnecessary stuff with Prabhas Well I believe He is a great action hero but often it seems he doesn't have any timing with comedy and if the writing is bad it feels horrible. Kudos to Amitabh bachchan though 👌🏼 who carried this movie on his shoulders in the 2nd half otherwise this movie would have turned out horrible like Adipurush 🤷🏼 Now, I am seeing this as a neutral perspective and trust me if they had focused more on Ashwathama's character 💪🏼 rather than Bhairava's This would certainly have become an Epic movie.🙌🏼 And if we go by the puranas they should have focused on Aswathama bcz Kalki part 1 is his story untill the Kalki Avatar takes birth than other characters can come in.
It's a experiment movie, this type of high budget movie never made in india basically the concept behind it is very unique and one more thing Is to execute the whole concept in cinema screen very difficult we should praise Nag Ashwin for his awesome Hard work 🙏. People didn't understand the Character of Prabhas in this movie. That goofy character worked so well in Original language but maybe the dubbing didn't work well. People fail to understand that Prabha's character was the only entertaining character in the first half. Otherwise the world building would be so boring and much slower. This makes me doubt whether some people deserve this kind of movie or not. Maybe they just want to keep watching the same stuff they liked a decade or two ago.

They cut the scene of the top of the Complex in the OTT version which was shown in theatres. It shows mountains, lands, water, oceans, rivers and different beautiful buildings above the Complex. The director should have included that 5 second scene.

You guys should watch Krishna's birth story and the Mahabharata. There are so many references and inferences in this film. If you would have known then, you would be like Woaahhhhh. The Sum-80 fire scene you watched has reference to Birth of Krishna (8th Avatar of Vishnu). His uncle kamsa tried to stop Krishna's birth, because he knew that he would be the reason for his death. Same story here. Also when Krishna was born, his father had to cross the flooded river to protect him from Kamsa. There was no way but he still went inside the river and Krishna was on top of him inside a basket. His father was about to get drowned but as soon as river water touched Krishna's feet, it got split and provided a way for him to reach the other side. Same reference with fire here. To understand the movie better u should know Mahabharata, if not detailed but atleast summary of it.. ashwatthaama is son of dronacharya, and is one of the 7 immortals to still walk the earth..he was born with that stone on his forehead..but that was forcefully removed by lord Krishna when ashwatthaama kills an unborn child (arjunas grandson), and lord Krishna curses him that he will forever be sick, his skin will be laced with diseases and his head wound will keep seeping, that's why he's shown all taped up and bandaged in the movie..once the gem returns to him he gets back his health.
In Mahabharata not once more than 100 times said that Arjuna was the greatest. Even Ashwatthama also said more than 5 times that Arjuna is greater than Karna.
Its not just connected to Mahabharat but every scripture There are numerous details in this movie Also Arjun is greatest archer, but not greatest warrior as archery is not only phase of warrior Karn and Arjun both were maharathis, both were great warriors And yeah karn was not a hero

In india actors want to be heroes and want to story revolves around them ..if we remove all those unnecessary comedy scenes of prabhas and all other jokes in the first half of a movie ..this movie could have been really good
Karna was like that selfish, he was great warriour, but in mahabharata he was selfish for royale life and kalki he was selfish for complex life.
