This is a very condescending film from our point of view. The USA took over the Uk soldiers who were starting to win the hearts and minds of the local people. The Us army came in and totally buggered up the work the British army did.

There was a training exercise a couple of years ago. The British with 120 soldiers beat over 1,000 US soliders. Because of the equipment issues, the British concentrate on basic solidering instead of the technology side of things. They are very good at intelligence gathering side of things. Israel is a good example of this. The US provided the weaponry and the British taught Mossaid the intelligence and strategic side of things. Both are as equally valid and combine to make a formidable force.
The British are the ones that Russia are wary of and I quote " the British get places a lot quicker, than we'd like them to 😂
Our little island didnt rule the majority of the world at some point and not learn anything in the process. My grandfather who was SAS and when he retired from active duty he went to Australia to form their SAS. And to quote him regarding delta and the Rangers, " we taught them everything they know but not everything we know" And I have no doubt that something along those lines is said by US servicemen as well.
Both are formidable forces, they just approach things differently based on their strengths.

The 2 can't really be compared as the US is 30 times larger than the UK. UK troops and special forces have superior training, which is brutal, sometimes leading to death as they yomp over the Brecon Beacons. The SAS are the best in the world. They helped the US in setting up their special services. The RAF helped set up your Top Gun school, and a long time ago it was British Intelligence in London that helped set up and form your CIA. From WW2 onwards all British tanks & APCs have been fitted with BVs (boiling vessels). One British tank crew pranked the German nilitary when they were showing them the then new Challenger tank, they fitted a microwave, tv and video recorder, then convinced the Germans it was standard equipment. The early US Abrams tank used British Chobham armour. The latest amour is still based on Chobham upgraded, Idk what the US calls theirs, but the British upgrade is called Dorchester. Before the Abrams was introduced, US post war tanks used the British L7 main gun. Colonel Charles Beckwith did an exchange programme with the SAS, and when he returned he persuaded the Pentagon to let him set up Delta Force. Apparently the US Army in Iraq produced a small card to fit in US troops wallets, it read, Do not drink with British troops Do not gamble with British troops Do not fight withe British troops YOU WILL LOSE.

As for our SBS Speical forces the USA has no comparision and the proof is in history. The USA has never won a war on its own-NOT ONE! It also loses against third world nations like Somalia and Afghanistan, whilst the British have won 80% of their wars unaided when fighting first world nations. This is why the Americans when they start a war they literally BEG the British to come in on their side.

The truth is that such young guys going into junior regiments and are not supposed to be deployed to hostile places until they have become 18 and joined an 'adult' regiment. Acctually, the reason the tea making station was put inside the tank was because once, in ww2, a large number of tanks (about a hundred) were parked alongside a road. British crewmen got out of their tanks in to have a brew. Then, about ten German tanks rolled up and destroyed 70% of those tanks. The Germans didn't lose a single one, because none of the crewmen were ready to react. Almost all of the crewmen survived, so the few trucks they also had were stuffed full of people on the way back to their headquarters.

The water heater isn't just for tea either, how do you think rations are, or should I say were heated. If can eat and drink in your vehicle you do not have to expose yourself directly to danger. Take a look at survivability of our current Challenger Tanks compared to the Abrams or German Leopards.

The British are trained to survive in their armoured vehicles in the worst possible circumstances. They are equipped and trained to remain sealed in their vehicles for extended periods of time. The vehicles can be sealed up to be safe from nuclear, biological and chemical attacks then if the vehicles are found to be contaminated in any way they are sent into a yard to be decontaminated by other troops wearing their “Noddy suits also known as NBC suits. A number of troops can therefore remain in their base in a state of readiness until they can safely return to normal duties. So they are capable of instantly returning to a contaminated area or being deployed ready to face any challenge and still have troops and equipment on a five minutes battle readiness status.

He served in all the hot spots of the late 80's all through 90's and halfway through 20's he retired due to a wound received that made it impossible to stay in active service. He immediately signed up as an instructor with his old cadet regiment.
He often was asked to be the escort to several American dignitaries and soldiets of rank who when on front line visits 9 times out of ten requested British escorts due to their high levels of front line service

A couple of things missed out, the SAS taught Delta Force everything Delta Force knows, but not everything the SAS knows. Yes new recruits could be young but the training is intense and they wouldn't be sent out to fight before they were ready. No mention of the Challenger II? Yes the USA may have more tanks but the UK has the better ones.
Soldiers would frequently trade with soldiers of other nations, things like ration packs etc ... British soldiers had an advantage here as they also traded hot water.

Boiling vessels or (BV's) where pretty much installed into almost all British tanks after the second world war. During the Second world war British tankies would often make brews on a camp fire which obviously made them vulnerable if there was ambushes. So in future designs it was deemed better to have a vessel inside the tank. The vessel obviously boils water so i can be used for boiling rations too. Kind of baffling that not many tanks use them.

This video was extremely biased. I'll go over the points the video made and give you an actually balanced view.
Britain may have less tanks, but they are actually stronger, faster and have better 'gadgets' on them. It won't displace the 8100 tank gap, but in reality the superiority reduces that gap by a significant amount.
Armoured Vehicles was a stupid comparison, they compared a recon vehicle to an armored troop carrier vehicle. Britain also uses vehicles like the MRAP, including some actual American-made MRAPS. The technology and vehicles are basically the same. The Jackals are more like the American Oshkosh Light Armored Vehicle. Plus, unless America turned in to a nation of terrorists in the last couple of years, I'm not sure how relevant IED protection would be in a full scale war.
That whole 2009 story was entirely made up. In fact, it was the opposite. British forces were encountering much more success at that stage of the war compared to the US, especially when it came to Ground operations. British military units reportedly had to take over entire regions from the Americans due to a lack of American ability.
Yes, the British Army has all kinds of historically oppressed groups, including women, tightly wound in to the fabric of the Armed Forces. Women were a totally accepted part of Military life, and not many British soldiers cared about it, at all - they care much more about your ability to be a soldier than what you have.. down there.
Not really sure what his source on the Alcohol thing was, but it's amazing how he managed to swing alcohol usage from being a positive for the US because it "boosts morale" but when it comes to the UK, it's bad because they're "self-medicating PTSD". The spin on that, this guy should work for a news company.
That whole tea vs coffee debate was useless. Neither affect your combat ability, but both can boost morale. No one side has any noticeable advantage over the other here.
He says the UK Troops are ultimately paid less, but never bothered converting the currencies to prove it, so I'll convert it for him. £20,400, converted to USD is $24,735. That's about $200 more than the US soldier earned, at the time he made the video. He intentionally didn't convert the numbers so that the UK pay for lower ranked soldiers seemed lower.
He mentions how British training is longer, but claims that British training is about the same as American training. This isn't true. In fact, most American servicemen who had an opportunity to go through a British training course would remark about how the British one was harder, tougher or better. In fact, British training isn't even 14 weeks, to join regular Infantry regiments, it's a 26-week course, even longer to become join a parachute or King's Guard regiment. The 14-week figure is for units not expected to see constant combact; such as the Medical Corps, the Music bands, Intelligence, Logistics etc.
The British do indeed allow 16 year-olds to join the Army, HOWEVER: They must be 17 to start the Infantry Training Course, and can not be deployed to frontlines until they are 18. Unless we're in a last-ditch 'throw everything we have at them' style defence, you're not going to see 16 year-old soldiers in a battle.
The Special Forces thing was selective as hell. He's acting like the SAS and Delta Force were the only Special Forces for those nations. They're not. And, SAS training you doesn't mean you're now as good as the SAS, that's not how that works. The British also have SBS, who best compare to the SEALs, as well as the Royal Marine Commandos (not Special Forces tho) who best compare to something like the Green Berets or the US Army Rangers. In a direct fight between the comparative Special Forces, it's obvious the British version would easily dominate in most battles, mainly due to better training and discipline.
I'm not sure why he bought up the Commander-in-Chief thing considering neither would actually lead the war, but I'll humour it. He sells the US quite short there, surprisingly, but a lot of US Presidents have had military experience. Most British monarchs have because that is the tradition, a lot of US Presidents did because it was their duty, or the right thing to do. He sells several historical Presidents quite dirty there. One which springs to mind is JFK, who served in the Pacific in WWII, and whose PT Boat even sank at one point.
    A couple of things he doesn't bring up, mainly because they're not Infantry but still;
    1. Royal Navy may also be outnumbered, but the ships and crew are far superior and will put up a hell of a fight, at the very least inflicting heavy casualties on the US Navy.
    2. Royal Airforce is also in the same boat (ha, get it?); heavily outnumbered but in superior aircraft with superior training - it wouldn't be easy for the US Military to control Britain's skies.
Finally for Pro-UK, a point he doesn't mention is the Commonwealth. Even if we imagine NATO is staying neutral, he completely glosses over the fact that Britain would have allies of varying strength dotted all over the world, ready to at the very least be a pain in America's side, and tie down a lot of their resources. A lot of Commonwealth nations might not love Britain, but they certainly like us more than the US, and would probably prefer the current status quo over Americans taking over everything.
In terms of Pro-US additions; he doesn't mention military industrial capacity. A war between the UK and US wouldn't be a short one, regardless who was winning. I know he was just comparing the soldiers, but something the US would have going for them is industrial capacity. It's pretty dang obvious the US would easily be able to out-manufacture the British military complex; you can tell by the gaps in numbers for vehicles, as he does mention.
I could tell you too were also noticing how obviously bias and nonsensical the video was, good on you. A lot of Americans tend to take such pro-American propaganda (that's what it is; lies to sell the narrative that America is better at everything) at face value, I'm glad you were a little sceptical of it. The whole video is obviously off, he says it's comparison between the soldiers, but then starts comparing their vehicles, hot drinks, their leader-.. he goes on complete tangents in some ways but neglects to mention other more obvious or pressing things.
PS. I'm not saying Britain would win the hypothetical war. It probably wouldn't. Be it'd be extremely close, and definitely a tough fight for the US, not even close to a steamroll as the video seems to suggest.

There's a lot of "Flag waving" on this channel you're watching. I'm pretty sure it's only popular as it's in cartoon format. Much of this is also "limited" in its truth? No mention of any new or moderised vehicles and weapons comming into service later on either? Ranks? You can not compare them? As a Sergeant I had far more years and experience than the equivalent rank in the US military. As an example, we had professional Corporals with fifteen or more years service blocked from using US Sgts clubs when working together and these Cpls were instructing the American Servicemen!
