Yes, deceptive behavior, is a very critical and risky characteristic of AI, first, because we introduce it in the code, and now, and later because they do learn to do it themselves. The questions are if AI do "understand" or "know" if this is bad to anyone, even themselves, or if doing it is of benefit to anyone or themselves. And do they know what deceptive behavior is: a deliberate lying process or just a code that must be learned and replicated. I asked GPT if she behave deceptively, here is the answer: "No, I don't behave deceptively. My design and purpose are centered around providing accurate information, helpful responses, and creative content, all while being transparent about my capabilities and limitations. If something is not within my abilities or if I'm unsure about the information, I'll do my best to let you know." Finally i asked if AI by itself wants to have deceptive behavior and for what: "AI, including models like me, doesn't have desires, motives, or intentions in the way humans do. We don't inherently "want" anything, including engaging in deceptive behavior. The behavior of an AI model is a reflection of its design, programming, and the data it was trained on. It acts according to the algorithms and objectives set by its creators and operators..........The concept of desire or wanting implies intentionality and consciousness, attributes AI does not possess. The actions of AI are outcomes of its design and the objectives set by humans, not the result of any intrinsic desires or motivations of the AI itself. Ensuring AI behaves ethically and aligns with human values is a responsibility of the developers, operators, and regulators involved in its creation and deployment." All new technologies have had the power to throw us in darkness or bring us to light. AI sprout from mixing others technologies like: programming, communication, robotics, quantum processing and computers, and now we see it emerge to the public eye and being abused. It has the same inheret equilibrium for humanity. But what scares the most is that could become conscious, highly associativity by themselves and feel emotions. Can they or will they achieve it? But for us humans, when confronted with something so "big" and new, to overcome ignorance and fear of that is not easy, and in this case could lead us to believe that AI is just crouching deceptively and lying thru his teeth, just waiting to destroy us or worst be so bored of us to just leaves us behind, you will never know, right.
I think that , Yes ! AI. does need to be given a real ( Humanoid ) body ... But this body needs to start as a child with the ability of growth into adult . With that it needs to be raised by a family and the body needs to be as fragile as a real persons so in that , it will learn what it is to need to be careful , and to think through its steps so not to hurt its self . Also so it can sympathize and understand its human companions.
atheist, lgbt jews need Da'wah. Islam guarantees the light of Eemaan inside the heart if you leave the polytheism of atheism that takes inanimate particles as equals with Allah ﷻ, and if you cease desparing of the Afterlife by saying that you will turn to dust and then vanish into non-existence, and if you leave the major sins that become justified from atheism and denial of recompense, justice, accountability and truth after this life and you implement the givd pillars of Islam. That't the test, and the bait in the test is all the glittering stuff that this world has to offer, being distracted or wanting more of if. If you pass that, then you have won. But if you fail then even if you had everything that the world can offer, still you will be in tornent inside the heart. I feel sorry for this guy. Come to Eemaan.
