Same! It’s been a relatively slow time for me for concerts lately in general, which doesn’t help. Things pick up a bit more starting next week, and I should get to see Chvrches at AlterEgo in LA in January at least!
Thanks! I don’t have any other videos from Boise. Just took some photos and enjoyed it the rest of the show! Plenty of other recent chvrches videos on my TH-cam channel though.
@@avkv7784 I actually was very close to you, probably two or three people to your right, second row from the stage. I took a few bits. I had never recorded in a concert hall before and I found out that the recorded sound is all saturated, particularly in the low frequencies. Do you have a trick to avoid that? I hope you don't mind my asking.
@@rterpend The only real advice I have is that you don’t want to be directly in front of a speaker. Maybe you were lined up directly with one of the little speakers on stage? Being right in front of the speaker can definitely cause issues with the low-frequency sounds. Aside from that point, it might also just be a matter of the device you were using. I record with an iPhone 14 Pro Max (13 Pro Max before the 14 was released) and it generally handles concert sound quite well.
Excellent!
I miss it so fucking much
